Bedbugs!! Bedbugs!! BEDBUGS!! Do NOT stay here!! I stayed in room 145 and woke up around 1:30 AM to two bites and bedbugs crawling on the bed and on my pillow! I went to the office to ask for a refund, but he said he couldn’t give me one until the morning when the manager is in. There was a lady and a man sitting at the lobby, chilling. I asked if they were staying there, and they said they worked there. I showed them the video footage of the bedbugs, and the lady had the audacity to admit that they knew about the bed bug problem in that room for a while! She even said they keep booking that room to people, knowing there are bedbugs! I called them the next morning for my refund, and the manager gave it to me, admitting they brought lab testing to find bedbugs. But with what the lady said the night prior, it's clear they knew about the bedbugs all along and just didn't care!

The room was dirty. I had to clean the bath tub before i was able to shower in it for it was dirty w/ hair, dirt etc, the floor was dirty, the bed spread was stained etc. It was nothing like the room in the picture i rented. Nowhere to park, i had to park by Village Inn. Trash by my room was overflowed.

Truly a crack motel. But these days, crack is blue and smells like poo. Literally watched a couple carry out a mattress that caught fire the night before. 3 of the 4 lighting fixtures in my room were broken or had no bulbs. My bathroom had no light or fan and smelled like sewer waste. That smell only intensified when I ran the shower. No, I didn’t shower there. This truly is a motel for drug addicts. Not shaming them, we do what we do for a reason. But if you’re not part of that subculture, your not at the right motel. No way would anyone sober feel comfortable staying there. I found the orange cap to a syringe on the far side of my bed. The staff is nice. Which is uncanny given what they deal with.

The hotel was nice, not really on the fancy side for La Quinta. The staff were very friendly and helpful getting us checked in and out even when we were arriving and leavings late at night. Only thing lacking was the variety in your continental breakfast: mostly just carbs no protein (besides refrigerated boiled eggs) and no fruit.

I am requesting to get refunded for this reservation. Go hotel had told me that I made the reservation for the wrong date I made it for one day too soon and they would like not let me stay for this reservation I was then asked to check out or to make another reservation. I didn't realize when making the reservation that it was an older motel-style place with exterior room doors. La Quintas I have seen are usually nicer and hotel-style. The rooms were clean and updated but the property and parking lot felt uncomfortable. I didn't enjoy forfeiting my money, but we left and found another place to stay.

If you have a chance to find a better hotel for even a little more, I would highly recommend it. After my first stay here over Easter weekend 2023, I thought I’d give it a second chance. Over Halloween weekend I stayed here and it only confirmed what I had previously thought. The rooms was damaged with no sign of repair - missing baseboard with a hole along the wall near the floor - blow dryer was broken but still stuck to the wall - water pressure was weakened and often varied from hot to cold to warm to cold and back to hot - everywhere smelled like smoke because people smoked near the elevator - the elevator always had an interesting smell each morning - no bowls at breakfast for cereal (not sure how you don’t keep stock of materials) - and they Denver charged the hold on my card but rather processed the entirety of the stay in the middle of my stay instead of at the end. Definitely look elsewhere if you can. 2/5.
