"This is a beautiful hotel right on the outskirts of Arromanches. The beach and the small city center were easily walkable. The hotel itself was on beautiful grounds and the rooms provided everything we needed, even though the room itself was small (expected for Europe). The beds were comfortable. We were on an upper level so it got a little warm, but with the window open and the provided fan it was fine. Everything was clean and well cared for. We opted not to pay for breakfast but it smelled amazing every morning. We did not venture to the pool This is a great option when traveling around Normandy. Be aware that Arromanches itself is small but Bayeux is easily drivable with lots of dining options. It was quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this place to anyone spending some time on the Normandy beaches or for exploring any WWII sites in the surrounding area."

"The communication before arrival and once we were there was great. The location is great, not right in the middle of the touristy area so it wasn't loud at night. No A/C but they had big windows to open as well as a fan. The room was very clean and comfortable."

"The place was neat and clean. It appeared new. Staff were polite and helpful. Very accommodating. The only issue was that our room had limited space for our suitcases and it was a little noisy. When brought to management’s attention the issue was resolved."

Churchill Hotel Bayeux Centre

"Excellent hotel. Great staff. I speak French, but there were a lot of English speakers there and they were very well accommodated. Nice large room and bathroom. Traditional breakfast items and a bar on property. The only downside is there’s no elevator."
Hôtel De La Marine

"The staff were excellent and responded quickly when communicating. The room was very clean, but a little cramped due to the slanted ceilings (I am 6 ft tall). The hotel has no on-site parking, but it was easy to find on-street parking for free (from 7:00pm to 9:00am). There was also a few parking spots on the street (a 3 minute walk from the hotel) that were totally free (no restrictions)."

"The restaurant was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it. We didn’t realize the room didn’t include facial washcloths, so we had to use large towels instead. Overall had great time."
