The breakfast was terrible. We ordered fried egg and poached egg. We got scrambled. Non of us like scrambled. The apple juice tasted like it had been sitting open for months. Definitely would not pay for breakfast again. Thanks Mr McCusker

Check in staff couldn't have been more helpful....plus we had a large fan in the room which helped in the heat ..only a ten fifteen minutes walk to city centre.

Overall, I can’t complain. For the price and for 1 night in this location, the bed was comfy and I had no real issues. The cleanliness was definitely not the best I have ever seen, but nothing was particularly bad either. I was appreciative the eco friendly bar soaps and shower gel. The bed linen and towels were crisp white and clean. No strange smells, and no issues with other guests. I’d recommend it if you’re just looking for a cheap place to stay in the area!

Room was well equipped, microwave etc. Aircon in theory existed however the room was akin to a sauna. The hotel did provide a standing pillar fan however it simply pushed hot air at us overnight. The water pressure was poor. In winter I am sure this would be a pleasant experience, especially if you don't mind low water pressure.

Why is it that there is no airflow in UK buildings! It was so hot and no A/C or even a fan! And the stairs were creaky & scary. But the view was incredible and the suite was great. I felt like I was looking out the window from Ratatouille without the Eiffel Tower. And I felt safe as a single young woman.

Our original room had not been cleaned when we got to it. Went to reception and sorted us another one straight away. Very apologetic for the mix up. Room clean and a decent size everything you could need. Staff very polite and helpful.

Checking in was easy, but the room (considering I paid extra for a better room), was poor. The curtains across the balcony doors were ill- fitting, my bed was up a steep set of wooden stairs and one side was pushed against the wall as there was insufficient room in the space for it. The bedside shelf was loose and falling off the wall and the deck had no chair. When I went to shower in the morning, the hot water ran for 30 seconds and then ran cold, leaving me to shower in cold water.

I saw some horrible reviews for this hotel and was very worried about staying here, but i was very pleasantly surprised. Things are a little grubby around the edges, its not perfect, but it was clean enough and very comfortable. Excellent value, no complaints.

I would not recommems thjs place at all. There were big holes burns on the carpets, the duvet had stains, blood stains on the pillow case, the door did not lock, looked like it had been broken into, had to keep our suitcase against the door, felt unsafe all night, my daughter and I.

Grotty Hotel

Lights didn't work in our first room. Went down to get another room, and half the switches didn't work. There are food marks all over the walls - it's quite grotty
