The food at the restaurants is very good - larger portions - but pricey considering there are great options outside the hotel. A bit pricier than other nearby hotel restaurants too. Daybed/cabana rental process not very user friendly and should prioritize hotel guests. Hotel guests should not be competing with people off property for access. Resort fees are high and include no perks."

"I went to El yunque... my shoes were soaked. I left them to dry and when i woke up the evening, the shoes were missing. They did not help to check for them. they said the back has a space for smoking.. even a bench and a black trash only for smoking butts ... yet she still charged me 100.00 for incidentals claiming i smoked in the room. i never did, i met a guest in the breakfast area smoking and thats why i tagged along and followed suit. besides that the breakfast was good.. the same thing but u cud switch it up..."

"We enjoyed the location within old San Juan; it is centrally located to walk around with many choices to restaurants. If you are driving it is not easy to find street parking. There is a nearby parking garage that charges $25 for 24 hours. It's a small hotel; the front desk is very welcoming. Our room was clean and we had no issues besides our bedding feeling a little damp, but they gave us dry sheets to replaces with no problems. The bathroom was clean, but they need to do a little updating to give it a better look and feel."
