The staff were very courteous. Especially the breakfast lady and people at the front desk. However, the park area was very dark. Possible safety concerns. Part of the reason I booked the reservation was that it had a fireplace. I found out after we arrived that the hotel was being renovated and all fireplaces were not useable. The room door occasionally did not work properly. The hot water was not working properly.

We had to change rooms when we first arrived. When we turned the lights to our first room 3 roaches ran out . Carter the front desk person was super kind and relocated us on the other side of the hotel. The room cleaners did not change our sheets when they came. Corina the attendant at breakfast was sweet and very helpful

Staff, from front desk attendant to those who prepared & monitored breakfast area were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming! The hotel was clean, quiet and centrally located. Only disappointment is that the fireplaces were not operable in rooms & we understand there are plans to remove them. My humble voice says reconsider that...those are part of the ambiance for many of us. We were looking forward to turning it on in our suite but couldn't. That's the reason for 4 vs. 5 stars for this review.
