Good value for families, sportsmen and especially
We are two sport fishermen who had a boat trailer and were looking for a quite, clean, convenient, accommodations with a breakfast and a reasonable price...The Travel Lodge filled all our needs quite nicely. The two rooms room were fine, the bed was comfortable, and the bath was quite clean. and we appreciated the "kitchenette" even though we did not need it this trip. The TV and everything worked just fine. The free continental breakfast was a bonus and the waffles good. We needed electrical hook-up for our boat and not only did they have several there was also ample trailer parking. For us, this was good value.

Expedia, the room that wasn't!!!
We made our reservations before we left Daytona for our motorcycle trip to Okeechobee for an overnight stay. After driving 165 miles and arriving around midnight, to an empty lobby, locked doors and no one answering the phone right away. A man appeared from the back room, it appeared we woke him up, after a brief conversation he informed us that he was booked up. He went on to explain Expedia should never have sent him a confirmation considering he had no rooms. Now, after standing around the motel parking lot for an hour trying to find a room for the night, a women from town asked us if we had a problem and we explained what happened and she made a phone called a friend who was able to put us up for the night. Iv'e had it with Expedia and this will never happen to me again.

Scary Experience
A Fight broke out outside my room, a lot of drunk people there. The staff was unable to control it. We checked out at Midnight, could not risk staying the night. Fear there was going to be gun shots.

Checked in on Friday evening and hotel staff are very friendly! Hotel room was nice and cozy.

Do not stay... Very Disappointed
Booked this on the four and half star rating... this is not as it is portayed on the reviews. Very disappointed and glad I stayed rest of my vacation just down the road for the saame price at a place that was a four star hotel. Very disappointed in Travelocity.

Great hotel that sits near Lake Occochobee.
Great! Room was clean and staff was friendly. Not a new place, but very good for fishing trips.

One of the worst motels I have been in.
My wife and I have already discussed our experience with one of your staff. the rooms smelled the showers all backed up so your standing in nasty water the staff was some of the disrespectful people I have ever encountered. They charge my Credit card before we even arrived like a day early and on top of that they charged me for both rooms and would not give me a receipt when asked about receipt they got really nasty and threatened to call police. Very bad service...... Oh ya when we arrived they tried to send us away would not even open door to find out if we had booked already or not. VERY DISSAPPOINTED.......

You get what you pay for
It is a cheap hotel for a reason. Rooms are beat up. Rotted wood in bathroom, torn screens in windows, bath towel would be a hand towel at other hotels, breakfast is some packaged pastries and a banana, and it more like a motel then hotel. Would I stay again, yes but only because it was so cheap.

L'hôtel est vieillot. C'est bruyant. Il n' y a de rideau aux fenêtres seulement des doubles rideaux donc sombres. Petit déjeuner et salle pour le prendre trop restreints.

It is an older hotel but maintained well. clean and everything worked. room was fine actually had a 3rd bed in the room that was nice every one had there own bed, we will stay there again next time we are in town

Do not recommend
I checked in and within 10 minutes I checked out. Room smelled musky the entire smoke alarm was missing and based on what I saw in general arouind the hotel I did not feel safe.

The tv there not many channel to see and the phone was ringer off so I call the office and she told me it unplug the phone toilet was broke.But the bed was so firm and me and my man had a good sleep. And the room was clean smell nice

The hotel was not what we hoped. The carpet was dirty and sticky when you walked on it. Two light bulbs were burned out and there was a wad of green gum stuck to the lamp by the bed. There was a place for a chain for the door but no chain. When opening the blind in the room, we found that it covered a cement wall. The room was dark and not appealing at all.

Good stay
Everything was very nice. Clean room and very accommodating. The only thing is that the pool was closed by 4p. I did not make an issue of it, but I bet if I did, they would have opened it for me. I would stay there again.

The Cold Water Works!
We booked for one night. The room was clean and had all the amenities you expect in a typical Budget Motel, with the exception of the hot water- there wasn't any. We showered at 8:00am Sunday in cold water.

It so bad we didn't even stay there and instead paid additional for a room at The Holiday Inn Express in Okeechobee. This hotel should not even be an option!!! It's old and smells. Not what we paid for with Hotels.Com and doubt we will ever use your services in the future.

THERE IS NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST AS ADVERTISED IN EXPEDIA. WE SHOULD BE GIVEN A FULL REFUND BY EXPEDIA OR THE HOTEL, WHOEVER ENDED UP WITH THE FUNDS COLLECTED BY EXPEDIA... IS NEXT TO NOISY ROAD. THERE ARE NO BATH TUBS IN THE ROOM. IT IS AN OLD OUT OF DATE MOTEL.

Room was quiet, fairly clean but clearly dated. Room had a funky smell. Bought air freshners for my four night stay and was still a little stinky. Other than that the staff was friendly and the bed was comfy. Not if you are just there to sleep.

Great Place for Pet Owners
We were impressed there was an oversized dog pen next to the swimming pool. It was close to the historical markers and shopping. The continental breakfast was the only bad feature. A cup of coffee, a bananna and a cold pop tart does not make a good breakfast.
