"This is a beautiful hotel, fantastic breakfast, and a nice nightly reception. There isn’t any food within walking distance, but the hotel is centrally located downtown. The fitness room was also nice with all machines working and a full set of hand weights. My issue with this property was that we stayed there for six nights, and at least one of us used the gym every single day. It did not have disinfecting wipes to wipe down the equipment any of the days we were there. I notified the hotel through the app on day 3. Still no wipes on day 6. When I addressed this with the front desk they explained to me that they were ordered and haven’t come in yet. I managed to run to Walmart more than once on this trip for various things, so this didn’t really cut it for me as this hotel is directly in the middle of a large medical plaza. This made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the facilities if a health issue that minor can’t be remedied quickly. This property is convenient and has good amenities, but I will likely choose somewhere else next time due to how unconcerned they were with a cleanliness issue for six full days."

"The Ellison is an amazing boutique hotel in a classic part of Oklahoma City. There are some great shops near by such as Trader Joes, Lulu Lemon - just to name a few. The Hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bedding is comfy and the amenities in the rooms are nice. The restaurant has some delicious options and the staff is very accommodating. The parking is slim, but around the back you will find more and I didn't feel nervous about intruders. Love that you have to use your card to get up to your room in the elevator. I have stayed at The Ellison before and would return!"

During the weekend stay, I connected with family members who were also at the hotel, and we all had an exceptional experience. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Arriving early, we were pleasantly surprised when they allowed us to check in ahead of schedule—such thoughtful service after a long journey. I genuinely appreciated their kindness. Overall, it’s a fantastic hotel with a wonderful team and an unbeatable location."
