It was cute cozy motel by beach.. it is little old but it is still good for us to stay here! We enjoyed it lot!

Overall great place to stay

Pros- very clean, very close to beach, great service at desk, loved jacuzzi Cons- walls are thin… could hear someone burp in other room and whoever was upstairs had kids that ran late in night then early in morning, only heard train 2x, bed was ok but pillows were hard The pros, for us, outweighed the cons

When we checked in we were told yhe microwave was broken. Then when we tried to watch tv the cable did not work. The staff was super apologetic and was quick to remedy the issues. Their response to the issues we ran into was professional, courteous and fixed in timely manners.

Clean and Great Location

Hotel room was clean and so was the pool! We will definitely be back again. We might bring mattress toppers next time but honestly the hotel had everything we needed. Kitchen was equipped and clean as well!

It has kitchenette and basic eating and cooking stuff that is clean and in good condition. Walk across the street and you are at the beach. A reasonable walk to the main pier. Truly enjoyed my stay and considering going back next year.

The staff was great. The room was clean. The fridge Kept everything super cold. The AC didn’t work though and the mattresses were a little uncomfortable.

I had a nice stay here. This is not a fancy motel but offers a clean room and with good accommodations at a good price. The desk clerk was extremely helpful. The location is exceptional as you are one block from the beach and 4 blocks from the square downtown. I would recommend this motel if you are looking for a no frills place to stay. I did not use the pool so I cannot speak to that.

My weekend getaway

Check in was quick and easy The woman that checked us in was very friendly and accommodating The room was dated but had everything we needed The grounds were clean and constantly being maintained by the great staff I was amazed at the girls that were working non stop but always took the time to engage us in conversation We asked for additional towels that were delivered almost instantaneously The location is great Short walking distance to everything! We will definitely return in the future

It was ok. The kitchen has the blow dryer in it . Which is unsanitary. The microwave made a ton of noise. The cable didnt work at all but the owner had staff bring a roku over so that was very helpful and nice. I found dirt and change under the bed drawer on the edge which tells me vacuuming is not the greatest. It was good for a night. I would never sty for any more than a day or 2.sorry. The ice machine was at the other hotel. Key didnt work and had to get a new one. Very minimal kichen utensils

Our room was clean and had a full bathtub and kitchenette which were great with kids. The staff were wonderful. The location is perfect- the pier is a short walk away but there is also beach access right across the street. The downside, however, is the train is steps away as well. It passes through all day and night and blares it’s horn as it goes by. We travel with a sound machine for our daughter which helped a little. Without it we wouldn’t have been able to get a bit of sleep.

Trizzie checked us in early and was extremely welcoming and pleasant! She was extremely helpful, helped us get rooms right next to each other, parking spaces that were best for our vehicles, and early check-in for both rooms! We loved their pool. It was small, but big enough for us to play in and lounge around. Clean and perfect temperature! We were excited to find that beach access was a 2-minute walk, right across the street. We were able to walk down the street to the main shopping/dining/pier area for dinner, shopping, and rides and arcade too! Just a note: There are train tracks right behind the motel (we were at the end, right next to the tracks) and we were not bothered by the train overnight. It is LOUD during the day.

Overpriced and dirty

Extremely overpriced for this quality. Yellow sheets. Clogged sink. 40-year-old furniture. The bed had one sheet and a bedspread. No blanket. I requested housekeeping service, and they delivered clean (yellow) sheets and I had to put them on myself. The best part is when Amtrak barrels through at 1:00 am, blasting its horn, and shaking the room.

Green Dolphin

If you’re familiar with Old Orchard, this place is like all of the others. It’s old, as they all are. Our room was clean. TV did not work, we could not get wifi on any of our devices. The location is excellent, as is the pool. Those are about the only positives. The motel is under new management this year, they have a new reservation/payment processing system. After check in the staff tried to tell me my payment didn’t go through. After a quick call to my bank, they verified my payment DID go through. But through our entire stay the staff continued to say my payment was not received. It was a hassle, it had me worried over our whole vacation. I ended up having to call the bank 4 or 5 times. Rooms in OOB are expensive enough without feeling like you have to pay twice. Granted through the whole ordeal the staff was very friendly. Though they were wrong. I would imagine there have probably been more payment issues through the summer with this new system. Though I hope not for the guests’ sake. Without the payment issue, we would have stayed again, but now I doubt we will.
