"Set on a dead end in Ashford, CT this property is at an advantage for everything. The area is dark in all the right places and the road is a dead end. The Ashford is also set in prime leaf peeping county and has a nice walking spot. (If that’s your thing) The staff is a lovely local couple who will help you with patience and guidance. The Steaming Tender restaurant located within easy walking distance from the inn will not disappoint and is a must see. The restaurant is located in the old train station and has been masterfully restored. The food is very good and the atmosphere is spot on if you’re a fan of trains.
