"I was really excited to stay at Winslow’s Bungalows, but unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the price. For over $1,100 for two nights, I expected a much better maintained property. The room itself looked nice at first glance, but once we settled in it became obvious that parts of the property are falling apart and poorly maintained. The furniture in our room was visibly damaged and chipped, and pieces of the flooring were literally coming up and breaking off. It felt unsafe and definitely not what you’d expect from a resort charging luxury-level prices. For the amount they charge per night, basic upkeep should not be an issue. Cosmetic damage, broken flooring, and worn furniture make the room feel neglected rather than boutique or charming. The location in Key West is great, but the condition of the room simply didn’t justify the cost. For the same price, there are many other properties in the area that appear to be much better maintained. Overall, the stay was disappointing and not worth the $1,100 we paid for two nights. I hope management addresses the maintenance issues because the property has potential, but right now it doesn’t match the price point."

"The gentleman at the front desk was not very accommodating. He informed us that our room was ready, but there would be a $40 charge to checking in early. We were two hours ahead of our current reservation time, which doesn’t make sense from a customer service standpoint. If you have it ready, why not accommodate your guest? "
