Southwinds is an older motel in the heart of Key West. Easy to walk just about anywhere from their location. Room was clean, great bed and wonderful staff. Only problem was that we were close to the bar, so lots of loud music at night. We didn’t complain or ask to be moved as we were there during the KW Marathon, and all the rooms were full. We did add an extra day to our stay, and they placed us in a great room by the heated pool. Would definitely stay there again, just not close to the bar.

Breakfast is a quick stop and go. Met expectations and was appreciated. Room and property is so clean a quaint. I really enjoyed all of the amenities and location. Ended up in that heated pool everyday. So nice! Will be back.

Guys for the price this is pretty run down property even though the rooms were clean. The breakfast served was really a junk. I understand that I decided to stay in a MOTEL but still, even cheap food can be better quality. The staff was courteous and professional and friendly. Really, just staff and room cleanliness were positives of this place.
