"Quirky building hidden amongst others. Beautiful old staircase and lovely open air terrace, which was wonderful to sit in the sun with a beer. Nice clean room. Downside was having to use WhatsApp as a key to get into the building and the room. Clever but as traveling we didn't have WiFi or mobile data and so was forced to use our mobiles abroad and at a cost. Would have preferred a key. "This Hotel was booked as a single night stop over on our way from Chamonix to Caen. After a 650km drive it was a really welcome sight. Although next to a commercial area / retail park, the hotel is enclosed by trees, feels private and has plenty of parking. The hotel is bright and airy and very comfortable. We opted for the Executive double room when we booked a few days in advance of our stay so we had a sofa and somewhere to sit. On reflection the standard double rooms are probably just as comfortable based on what we could see in the website. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. The evening meals were very tasty too and reasonably priced. The bar had a good selection of drinks and the swimming pool is a great amenity too. We would definitely stay at a Westotel again."

"Really good location although we did find parking an issue but, to be fair, parking in any city isn’t straightforward! Rooms are well laid out, beds and pillows exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast very good although the reception, breakfast area gets quite congested at busy times."

"The staff always make this hotel a welcoming stay. We enjoy the friendly atmosphere, attention, and recognition. We would recommend the restaurant which has excellent food with a selection of starters, mains and sweets and with a specials board too. And, of course, a wide selection of beverages including local wine. The rooms are clean, comfy and functional but basic, ideal for a stop over. We come here many times on our journey through."
