The room was clean, & I was impressed with all the items provided for us in the kitchenette. Room comes with a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes & silverware, pots & pans & lots of other things either in the room, or you can borrow items to cook with from an area in the lobby! Laundry is FREE & the staff are super friendly & helpful! Would definitely recommend planning your next trip to an IHG Candlewood hotel!!

We booked a king suite and were told when we arrived that they overbooked and would 2 queens be ok. Well, not really, but what choice did we have? We stayed 4 nights and were given one set of towels each. Then we were told that if we wanted any clean towels we would have to wash them ourselves or ask for more, but our room was never serviced while we were there. The disposal was broken and leaked water all over the floor so we could not use the kitchen sink or wash dishes. The full sized refrigerator and real dishes were nice, along with the gym and free laundry.

There are other hotels close by too. There is a Walmart and Starbucks within walking distance, and numerous local eateries are within walking distance. There is a couple of gas stations nearby, but you'll have to drive to them - they're only about 1/4 mi away. We've stayed at this hotel several times and the Holiday Inn & Suites is next door. We've stayed at both. This is our go-to spot anytime we travel up north and when coming back south.

I found the room enjoyable and great for my needs. My only issue at all was that housekeeping puts the comforter in a closet without any notice, instead of on the bed, so my first night I was unaware I had one. Regardless, it was satisfying and I enjoyed it.

Great employee service

Prior to entering into the hotel, I was positively engaged by someone parked next to me. Only after entering into the hotel that I realized this was an employee coming to work. This pleasant engagement was equally met by the desk employee (Janelle), who was tremendously nice and informative about the hotel amenities. This cordiality was also received from the male desk employee when I was checking out. When the employees are personable, courteous and engaging, it makes for a pleasant stay for me, and the employees were great.

Nice room. Very clean. Friendly folks at the front desk. Evidently, they welcome dogs. While I love dogs, one little guy a few doors down decided to bark incessantly late into the evening. They also need a better fitted sheet. Aside from those things, it was a very pleasant experience.

The good news is that if you are traveling with a pet, this your place. But our suite’s living room smelled like wet dog. At least the bedroom didn’t. Very dated. AC in bedroom worked really well until we accidentally switched it to heat. A horrible burnt smell came with that brief mistake; it eventually cleared. Next time would choose the Holiday Inn Express next door.

The room we stayed in was dirty. The sheers had mold on them. There was someone else’s hair on the bathroom floor. The back of the bathroom door was splattered with an unknown yellow substance. Another guest’s soap was still in the shower. Every metal surface was covered in Rust. It felt dirty and gross

Rough stay! Place is not terrible but just misses the mark on very basic stuff like clean towels, rooms not ready when we checked in at 7:00 pm. Everyone has off days but got the feeling that this place is having off years.
