Only let down by a strong musty smell on entering the room either due to unwashed contractors occupying the room prior or wet carpet? Otherwise a beautiful holiday park.

I stayed one-night mid-November en route to somewhere else. Very quiet as well out of season, which suited me fine.

Super Kabine mit Meerblick
Jederzeit zu empfehlen. Es gibt auch einen schönen Rundwanderweg zu einem Aussichtspunkt mit Rückweg über den Nahen Strand.

Great place to stay, clean, comfortable bedding and friendly hosts a great walk to Brian's beach, then sit back and watch the waves roll in.

Comfortable hotel on beach
Hotel staff friendly and helpful with information about local activities. Located on beach, which is fantastic for morning walk. Hike up hill for panoramas of area. Bring own food, or drive 10k to Opotiki Should have inside mat by door to keep dirt and wet from spreading around.

Probably the best beach location in New Zealand - leaves Ohope for dead.
Yes it is an awesome beach and you also have all the bush walks on your backdoor. Look forward to hosting you again.

Fabulous find, just loved the Motel accommodation, the views, the peace and tranquility and the variety of birds. Excellent all round.

out of season one night stay
The tourist cabin and location were perfect, loved our walk on the beach. Shame we were just passing through, would go back and stay longer. Staff were really friendly.

Close to the beach, further from everything else
Good value for two adults and two kids. Close to the beach, and with a playground and bouncy air pillow for the kids to burn off energy. A bit out of the way, especially for groceries (about 25 minutes to the nearest grocery store).

Great quiet spot
This was a beautiful spot to have a stay at. Lovely beach, great walks and scenery, close to Opotiki and the cabin we had was clean, bright and everything operated well.A great place for a family to have a holiday, or a couple to have a quiet break away

Will definitely stay again.
Great views from the cabins and a short walk to the beach. Camp kitchen is beautiful as are the other amenities.

Spacious motel unit
Extremely clean and tidy. First and lasting impression was "Great". Everything you could need was provided including broom, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer...brilliant. Would definitely recommend this unit. Staff were extremely helpful. Handy to the beach...just a short flat walk across the dunes. Bird life was spectacular.

Nice Surroundings
Needed a Bed and found one. The people who run this place are very friendly. Very nice beach and surroundings (which I have to admit is pretty easy in New Zealand)
