"The property was okay. Walls are thin, I could hear the snoring from the room next door. My main issue was the price, we were charged £220 for night in a double room. I have no idea why it was so much because the usual rate for the room is much lower."

"Absolute worst. I couldn’t make the reservation and tried canceling prior and was fully declined any refund or credit. Even though they weren’t full booked they flat out refused anything. Karma comes around "

"Room was clean and comfortable, staff were really friendly and helpful. The bar had a cosy, comfy friendly local feel about it. The only thing I can mention negatively is that Expedia has the walking time to Durham down incorrectly. I think they meant it is a 13 minute drive not a 13 minute walk. This was no fault of the place where we were staying. It still wasn't a problem though, there is a bus stop straight across the road and an uber cost under £10. We didn't have food there because we'd already eaten, but there was plenty of choice on the menu all at a good price. We would definitely stay again"
