체크인 직원확충 필요
체크인 직원이 너무 부족합니다. 비록 밤늦게 도착했으나, 너무 많은 사람으로 인해서, 체크인 시에 1시간 기다렸습니다. 궁금한게 있어도 매일, 모든 시간(아침부터 저녁까지)에 체크인 줄이 항상 길어서, 직원에게 물어볼 수가 없습니다. 그리고 중고생 단체 여행객으로인해 밤까지 매우 소란스러웠습니다. 방음이 잘 안되구요. 다만 다른 부분은 좋았습니다. 방의 컨디션이나 시설, 그리고 카페테리아는 저렴해서 지내기는 좋았습니다. 직원 확충이 절실해보입니다.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at dockside. While the property is busy, it is enjoyable, and we found the food to be good. Our only feedback would be that there is a significant lack of storage in the rooms- if you are on an extended stay. For five of us, there were only three drawers and one tiny closet to hang things. We appreciated the transportation to universal studios in CityWalk. Staff are helpful.

I’ve stayed at both Surfside and Dockside and enjoyed both stays. Dockside is larger than Surfside but offers a similar experience. The family suite is great for a family of 6, and offers early entrance to Universal parks. The rooms were clean, the showers were hot, the beds were comfortable and while some people complain about the noise, I did not really hear any other guests while in my room. My family will definitely return next time we come to Orlando.

I loved this place, the staff were awesome and I loved the variety of food options in their cafe. It was easy to get in and out of there with our car. One morning we walked to ihop, located right across the street from us. The buses to the parks were great and we never had a long wait for them. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Frequent free shuttle to Universal parks; great location; secure (paid) parking; decent dining on site and nearby; and well-equipped rooms. But occupancy was high and those on upper floors had long waits for lifts and we saw no signage for stairs.

Hotel restaurant was great,Starbucks within the hotel was a bonus and the complimentary shuttle to Universal Studios was great! I would upgrade to a larger tv or wall mount so if one doesn’t want to watch it can turn and upgrade the beds and pillows.

Hotel was nice, it is not quiet though. Had difficulty sleeping bc of noise from the floor above us. Food selection was good and the convenience to get to the parks is unbeatable.

We were here for my daughter’s cheer competition. While the days were long in Universal, having shuttle access to the park, cafe on the first floor, bar at the pool, and lots of dining options nearby made me feel at ease. I would definitely stay here for a family vacation.

few problems: maid didn't missed our room one day. bathroom has no fan/vent no towel racks in bathroom long hallway to walk from the entrance to room (1791) long walk to get to neighboring restaurants, they could have some door gates which cuts down the walking distance all the way around the perimeter

We arrived and had no hot water to shower so we took cold showers the first night. The following night was still the same, no hot water and this time our phone didn’t work and the AC was not working and could not get our toilet to flush. Then at about 12:34 in the morning our room phone rang twice and woke us up but no one was there when we answered. Then my cell phone rang and it was the phone number for the hotel, I answered it and again nothing on the other end. The front desk staff had no explanation for this and didn’t believe me until I showed them my call records with the time stamp. They then transferred us to a new room but the new room had its issues also. We had warm water but not hot water and that was after the water had ran for about 5 mins. We had what we thought were noisy neighbors keeping us up banging on the walls and ceiling but come to find out it was the plumbing and every time someone used the water in the rooms around us it sounded like someone jumping on the ceiling repeatedly and at some points like someone was knocking on the door. I’ve never had an experience like this even when I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels and it really put a damper on our vacation because we really struggled for sleep and comfort our entire stay and I will never stay at dock side again. I spoke several times with the desk staff and they gave us free parking and 2 drink tickets and said sorry. super disappointed with the entire stay, especially with it being a universal resort.
