I had read reviews whereby people complained about dirty windows, worn out couches and the bar & restaurant not being open often. I still booked for 2 weeks because many reviews mentioned it was clean and that’s what’s important to me. Check in was easy. The room was extremely clean (1505A). The staff were very friendly and polite including the maintenance and security personnel. Yes the windows needed cleaning but not on the inside and not at ground level. It would take a window washer for a high rise. Yes the couch could be replaced but it was clean. In this economy, a person would be wise to stock the fridge with their beverage of choice along with some food. If the restaurant is closed, a 5 minute walk gets you to a hundred options on International Drive. We were extremely pleased with our stay from April 10 to 24 and would highly recommend the Westgate Palace.

This property is very close to Universal parks. It's very clean, quiet and family oriented. My apartment was very spacious. I would recommend it.

Pool was very nice but the hot tub had scum line in it that got on our clothes. We had a very nice two bedroom with kitchen. It had a stack washer and dryer and all the detergents to use it. Overall the resort was very nice.

We loved it. The staff was amazing. It was one of the cleanest places we've stayed. I gave it just 4 stars on condition. The unit we stayed in, A803, was very very clean but i can only assume it was used by the owner as a money maker. The unit has a very worn couch, it was the only place to sit in the living room. The shower was lackluster. The dryer didnt work well. We couldnt use it. We will DEFINITELY stay at Westgate Palace again, but ask for a unit other than A803.

Our first morning there (3/30) we smelled smoke in our room and it was a little hazy in the hallway. It was quite unnerving being on the 15th floor. My husband went to the lobby and I called the front desk. They said the fire department was “doing testing” and not to be alarmed. If that was the case, a heads up would’ve been nice. As we were watching the news shortly after, there was a fire at a nearby building. Not sure why there was a need to lie about it. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stat

Everything this hotel claims to have…it doesn’t! The rooms or “suites” are extremely small and poorly designed, they claim to be under staffed which would be acceptable if they notified you of this before booking, no bars were open, no restaurants,no food, your offered a vending machine with 6.00 bottle of waters and chips, no music or entertainment. Not a place for families horrible hotel

We were constantly delighted with how conveniently located the hotel was: across the street from Pirate Dinner Adventure, minutes from Universal with a free shuttle and minutes from Sea World. The pool is large and clean, the room was clean and the kitchen was very convenient. When we checked in, we noted the room didn’t have a frying pan or cookie sheet, so we called the front desk and they sent them up for us quickly. We had a wonderful vacation.

Resort was clean, very nice staff. Though the rooms were updated the furniture was not so the furniture is out dated compared to the room. Mattresses should be replaced asap.

Very quiet and clean. Check in was fast and friendly. Rooms were perfect for a family. Dining selections weren’t very good. Not hot selections at night. Had to use a delivery service. We will return when in Florida.

The sheets were so dirty and the towels as well. this place is NOT close to Disney. The pricing was not that bad so I thought it would be fine but nope. The windows don't open either I felt trapped.

It is a family friendly hotel, has a laundry room and a kitchen in the suite. If we are going to Orlando again in the future, we will definitely consider Westgate hotel as our first choice.

no housekeeping, the on-site restaurant was closed until "maybe summer," and the shuttle to Universal runs once per day and was fully booked before we even checked in. Yet somehow, they still charge a "resort fee" despite not even having basic hotel amenities. On top of all this, the rooms were not updated and far from clean. Would not stay here again.
