"Casa Vera is a wonderful guesthouse a few mins walk from the Duomo. My room (Primula) was clean and comfortable and I especially enjoyed the kitchenette and small balcony. I also loved the buffet breakfast which was served in the Cantina Vera. Highly recommended! "
"Beautiful serene property with extraordinary attentive and welcoming staff.
Incredibly decorated rooms and excellent cuisine and winery.
Highly recommended!"
"The property was beautiful, staff were attentive and went out of their way to be helpful. They served a great open breakfast every day. We will return."
"Great rural location with beautiful pool area and excellent restaurant. We had a wine tasting while there which was generous and interesting. Call ahead to see if horseback riding is available on the date of your visit. The location is just gorgeous. We highly recommend!"
"The hotel was lovely and extremely comfortable. Breakfast offered was very nice. Location, great! Only criticism is the spa charged me 40€ to use the steam and pool despite the fact I spent close to 400€ on spa services. I was so confused by the extra charge, it seems petty but come on! Really should be included, especially given it was the same day as the service."

Ride the cable car up to this town’s hilltop historic area with churches, traditional piazzas and a bell tower looking out from a volcanic plug of rock.
I thought four nights would be too long in Orvieto, but was completely wrong. There were so many lovely places to wander and the people in the town were welcoming and engaging. Also, transportation from Orvieto is fairly simple.

I haven't heard about it before and definitely a spot I'd recommend anyone on a day trip from Rome. Incredibly unique on top of hill and honestly, controversial thought it was my favorite Duomo (Milan, Firenze) but maybe because I wasn't expecting it

Very cool little town. We ate at a restaurant away from tourists. We enjoyed the ambience and quietness. The food was excellent.

"The hotel was darling and well-located. The small balcony had a nice view and the room was comfortable. Reception was wonderful. We came by car and we had already received information. It was made very easy to unload our bags and find the parking. "
"Love my stay at this small hotel in the beautiful town of Orvieto. I had a room on the third floor with a small window that overlooked the quaint street below. Service was always offered with a smile and the location was perfect."
