Room and facilities are very clean, bed is very comfortable, plenty of soft pillows, area around the hotel feels very safe, breakfast is ok but the same every morning.
I understand this is a cheaper hotel and most of the staff I dealt with were nice and helpful. The breakfast that was included was also very good considering the price. However, the room was in disrepair. Holes in the sheets and curtains, paint peeling off walls and doors. The biggest issue was that there appears to be an ant infestation in the building. Ants came pouring out of the floorboards on the second night.
Really nice weekend stay! Jetted tub was amazing and staff is lovely. Parking was a little annoying as it’s off a one way street but still manageable. Will definitely be going back.
In a quiet neighborhood, staff are very nice. Our door suddenly stopped working and they fixed the battery very quickly. Free parking was very nice. Breakfast was very basic but did the job. Pictures online make it seem like it’s big, but it’s really not that spacious. Toilet’s water pressure isn’t that great. Stayed here for the weekend and they must do a complete clean on the rooms. I woke up in the middle of the night, BOTH nights, with new mosquito bites. First night I found a bite in my back and 2 bites next to each other on my chest. Next night, woke up at 2am and found a mosquito or insect bite on my cheek. It would have been perfect stay if it wasn’t for the bites. It’s my first time in the area and exploring made it difficult since I’m itching the whole time.
Eventhough this was 2-3star hotel but all the experience was excellent.
I believe air conditioning system is newly built and even bath room was clean and nice.
I will stay again when I get to Ottawa.
It is a very simple hotel, but vety clean, well maintained, stuff is helpful. Breakfast very Noth American, we did not have breakfast, even though it was included. It has microwave in a lobby so you can heat some food if you need.
The hotel is not The Ritz, but it is pleasant, clean and comfortable. And, given the price, it is a very good value. We would stay here again. As well, the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Don't let the first appearance fool you. This hotel is a very clean and nice property with great staff. Everything was clean and tidy and breakfast options were also great.
Major issues with the hotel room doors. Very difficult to actually open with your room key and no explanation was given by the staff upon check in. Other guests had the same issues with opening their door as we did. Doors also fail to properly latch sometimes when you close the door meaning no key is needed to open the door. Finally the interior door deadbolt is non functioning.
Additionally the shower was very small with extremely poor water pressure.
The bed was supposed to be queen sized but was actually only a double.
The TV only has one functioning channel.
The only redeeming qualities are the decent breakfast options, sizeable bath and the friendly staff.
