The property was fine. What I did not appreciate is due to the corona virus I was stranded, my family paid for the hotel and the hotel did not want to take the deposit cash or via credit card from them I had to call a friend that lives in Ottawa to come to the hotel with his credit card. That was not good.....We paid online for hotel it was just terrible.

It is right downtown, near cheap/free parking, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Check-in is always very fast, and the building is walkable to many nearby destinations.

Pros...The location is great for exploring the downtown area. My bed was comfortable and the pillows had different comfort levels. Cons...the room itself left something to be desired. The bathroom needs major work, the sink was cracked in several places. There was no fan. The shower controls were extremely difficult to regulate. It was very definite that it was an older building, in need of a major facelift. Parking was off site and expensive. I think I definitely overpaid for the quality I received. Like

I like the location. I dislike the attitude at check in and the fact that they did not respected what they offer. I made a reservation based on $99.00 per night and when I checked in, every day they wanted to charge me a different rate ranging from 109 - 159$ per night. Not acceptable. I will not stay at this place again and will ensure my friends know.

I really liked the location of this hotel. We checked in and did not need our car to drive anywhere. We were there for Winterlude and was able to walk to each destination. Also there were so many restuarants nearby and a little mall as well. I really like the little kitchen area which we made use of.

Hotel location is great. Room was spacious and clean. Heat was easy to set. Bathroom was very small. Sink drain was terribly clogged. Only got towels for 3 when there were 4 of us. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Air quality seemed poor, as I woke up terribly congested both mornings.

Great location, comfortable Room and bed, good wifi. Quiet. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Easy walking to downtown Ottawa govt buildings, businesses, entertainment and restaurants. “Bib” restaurant off lobby very convenient and fast. Hotel is in process of upgrading their wifi.

Hotel is in rough shape. Only two elevators makes for long wait times at prime times at this hotel. Parking was horrible there overflow parking (shared public parking a block away) was even full with only option to search for street parking. Also vending machines were not functioning and only option for late night drinks or snacks is skip the dishes.

I loved the kitchenette I loved the location the beds were comfy the coffee in room was good we also liked the microwave and fridge and the fact that there was dishes was very helpful. The lack of parking was a mini problem how ever they do offer off site parking we would come and stay again

Great location in the centre of it all right downtown and walking distance to lots of things. However, major issue is lack of introduction to hotel amenities, slow elevators and parking issues. For parking, you're on your own finding parking in the area as the hotel has really zero parking available on-site.
