This room had water leaking inside from the wall all over the air unit and onto the floor. It smelled like there was mold in the walls

No heat
I ended up having to pull over for the evening bc of wind and gust over 30 mph. Temperature was below zero. The heat was barely working, blowing mostly cold air. My mom and I ended up sleeping fully dressed from head to toe, with our coat on, huddled on one bed, and blankets doubled up. The main lamp also did not work.

It was a comparatively cheap stay in a facility that had numerous worn out and broken fixtures. The bed was okay, but most other parts of the hotel, halls, and room should have been replaced or fixed (including a whole bank of electrical lights, clocks, etc. that wouldn't work because the electrical outlet they were plugged into was lying on the floor near the hole in the wall where it had been at some point in the past).

Booked a 2 bed room, was called 20 minutes prior to checking in they didn’t have 2beds but a room with only one bed. Zero options, my hands were tied

They were working on entrance, so there were signs of the management realizes that renovations are needed. Quite a few signs of wear and tear to the facility. But it was convenient and where we needed to stop. This was my second stay at this location and would use it again if need to stop.

The place smelled horrible like wet dog and weed. There was a dog that barked off and on all night. No one at the front desk when I checked out.

No elevator so we had to share a queen bed, which was too high and hard to get into. Hallway carpet was dirty and smelled of Carpet spray.

I got to the room and paid 25 extra to check in maybe an hour early.. the bathroom door was locked and we couldn't get in called twice and no one came and I ended up opening it myself. Then there wasn't any towels in the bathroom. We called twice about the TV she came the second time and answered her personal cell phone in front of us, which is unperfessional and then said she would be back in ten minutes. I had already made a review for the place and then when they both came back to fix the TV they demanded I change my reivew because there boss was getting onto them .And on top of all that the beds were hard I couldn't even sleep. I asked for a refund because I booked two nights and only stayed one, so I just wanted a refund on the day I didn't stay and they said they would issue it and that was Sunday and I have yet to receive it and it's Thursday..

The room was very cold and we needed to get an additional blanket which the manager was reluctant to give to us. The drawers on the dresser would not stay shut. There were no little bottles of shampoo etc in case we forgot ours.

Was told room had just been cleaned. Dirty sheets, dust widespread, fire alarms going off and flashing. One of their rules…”no refunds on room if something doesn’t work IF it is over 20 minutes after you checked in”

Adequate accommodations
The staff was very helpful and seemed to be doing their best in this budget motel, and our room met our basic needs. There was an empty cabinet in the room that must have held a refrigerator and microwave at one time, and there were some basic amenities - soap and a shampoo/conditioner packet. The drawers in the chest of drawers would not stay shut - I wish we had had time to pick up some shims to help realign it. We ended up with an accessible unit, so our bathroom was spacious and had grab-bars in the tub - always welcome. Our only real complaint was that our room smelled musty. We tried to turn the AC lower to filter the air more, but every time we re-entered the room the musty smell was still there. There was some construction going on. I am glad to see they are doing upgrades. There was free coffee in the lobby.

Ok for last resort
We stayed 2 nights here because it was the closest to a Jellystone Park we were visiting. Air conditioning was good. And they accommodated our request for 1st floor. No ice, no vending machines, room was very damp and musty, drawers didn’t close on dresser, some outlets didn’t work, was only given 2 bath towels and they had holes. Towels and bedding were very old but clean. Toilet barely flushed. Tub needed cleaning.

The place was filthy. Windows not clean, hallway carpet was worn out in multiple spots, exposing floor beneath and not vacuumed the 3 days we were there. Literally food left/ spilt on carpet was there when we arrived on Friday and still there when we left on Sunday. Public trash bins both inside and outside were overflowing with garbage scattered everywhere on ground. people living & sleeping in stairwell and cooking behind building and in parking lot on mini makeshift grills. Our room floor was not vacuumed before we arrived. Dead bugs in bathroom, no door lock on back exit of the building, emergency door held open by a brick entire weekend. Our room door had no latch connection in door frame and bedsheets were mostly clean, but had stains as well as stained comforter. Entire place smelled musky and moldy. No coffee, no mini breakfast, no one available for checkout and the only vending machine we could find was 100% empty and not plugged in.

Okay for just a place to sleep
The place is okay to just stay for overnight. A little musty smell and the hallway was not very clean. I had a microwave and fridge but a coffeemaker would have been nice. It was quiet.

The bathroom was so dirty. The floor looks like it hasnt been mopped in ages. We reservations two rooms and both of them were just icky.
