Check in at the “check in centre” was dreadful, slow and not as expected. We expected to be staying close to the sea, as we had when we visited last year, but our accommodation was several miles inland and very very disappointing. “Nice clean simple accommodations. We would stay there again. The village of Silves is a nice, quiet smaller town (at least in May). Restaurants and sites are in walking distance. There’s also free public parking one block away.”
