Having been to many Relais and Chateau properties through out the glove, my expectations were very high. I think The Cove did a great job overall for being in the Bahamas, however for this category of luxury resort, they fell short in many ways:
They did not accomodate for an early check in, there were several power outages, internet and WiFi outages, there were water outages, the onsite water craft for excursions was not as clean as would be expected, there was a red ant infestation in...
“The rooms were not that amazing. It does not feel like a 5 star room at all. I feel like everything in that room is basic. Everything is white and ikea quality. The place is ok. Not much entertainment except the casino and sometimes Jazz night which is once in a blue moon.
Some restaurants were closed because of hours so for example the Regatta, only breakfast and the rest of the week it was closed except for fridays to sunday after 6pm.
