Convenient for 1 or 2 nights stay
The hotel is located over the road from the ocean. However, you can't swim in the ocean due to a very muddy water and could use the pool instead. The staff was nice and room was OK. It was tea/coffee and stove facilities in the room. Bottled water was also provided, which is nice. The only problem is that all rooms are one to another with chairs/tables in front and when occupants of neighbouring rooms just sit there and talk later in the evening, even pretty quite, it is still pretty loud. There is a dive shop on the site, which runs the famous shark dives. However, due to poor weather the dive was cancelled on the day I was there. As I found out, it rains much more on this side of the island than in the North.

Nice hotel and close to the beach. Comfy bed and nice outdoor area. Also within walking distance to convenience stores, small restaurants and a larger supermarket so good location.

Right price for a dive stay
Clean simple rooms opening onto a long veranda overlooking a canal leading to the sea. Don't expect a resort experience as there is no TV, A/C or room service but this is perfect if diving with Aquatrek whose dive shop is steps away from your room. Very quiet at night. Small pool for a dip only but only 5 minutes walk to beach and resorts. Ten minute walk to artist village (bit run down). Simple breakfast and a bar serving sandwiches and chips. Friendly accommodating staff. Happy to fetch a taxi and safeguard valuables.

Not much to do for older couple. Beach access via Pearl Resort was fine. Nice quiet location. We were happy with our stay.

What a fabulous holiday
I would like to thank all of the staff especially Ash, Olivia, Billy and Sylvia for a fantastic holiday you all went above and beyond to help us out Ash was really helpful and came up with answers to anything that we needed what a great office manager. Olivia and her cleaning staff for keeping the place spotless and Billy and Sylvia for giving us great meals. I would like to thank the rest of the staff who were just great. Photos will be coming when we get home.

Quiet, spacious small resort away from the crowds
Pleasantly surprised. Great room. Air conditioning works. Nice bathroom. Delicious dinner in the restaurant. We were the only guests that night. Bed was large but a bit too firm. Only one coffee mug and plate in the kitchen which included toaster and tea and coffee making facilities plus a stove and cooking utensils. You could be quite self sufficient here. Great value!

Lovely quiet place, basic rooms, clean. Wonderful barmen, friendly and attentive, keeping an eye on our wifi in the outdoor dining area and rectifying loss of connection etc, vinaka! Food was yummy and cheap.
