"We loved our stay at this Holiday Inn! The location was a great home base for all our adventures in San Francisco! Our two rooms had amazing views of the city and the bay. They were clean and had everything we needed. The beds are doubles, not queens, but we knew this going into it. The pool was a little chilly due to the shade in the afternoon, but you can’t beat the view from the pool deck! My kids didn’t mind the temperature. The breakfast buffet is excellent, but a little pricey. We ate there once and then explored other good dining options around the area. This hotel is walking distance to the Civic Center Big Bus stop, if you want to do the Big Bus tour of the city!"

"Nice clean hotel located in the financial districts. It was about a 10 minute walk to little Italy and maybe 5 minutes to Chinatown. I definitely felt safe walking around this area. Rooms were clean and up to date. "

"We came to SF from Hawaii and planned our trip kind of last minute. I was did a lot of researching for places to stay. This was our first vacation without our kids in over 25 years. We were looking for something that was nice, safe, clean, walkable, affordable and comfortable and the chancellor met all the criteria. It was perfect! We had to check out of our air b n b by 12pm but check in wasn’t until 4pm. I called ahead and the front desk was so nice and told us to come in and see if any rooms were available and if not they could store our bags for us. We were so pleased to have a room available when we got here. The room was perfect. ! I would absolutely recommend the chancellor and will definitely visit again. It’s a perfect property. Mahalo! "

"Great location, nice and clean rooms equipped with the usual facilities. There was no coffee machine in my room (not sure about other rooms), but the main lobby has coffee and tea in the morning. I needed hot water, and when I asked for it, they promptly sent a kettle to my room. Location is great, close to lots of restaurants, Market St. and BART. Will definitely come back again. "
