"Great location, very friendly staff, on a quiet street but very close to shopping, restaurants and sites. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Lots of selection but pancakes and waffles were cold (as if they were from the fridge) and the quality of the food was not as good as expected based on the glowing reviews from other travellers. We considered going elsewhere to get breakfast. Room was nice and spacious, and the hotel was very clean."

"Good location, short walk to the gate to the old town. Kids enjoyed the pool which was quite unique. I would suggest having more staff. When we arrived, there were several other cars in the driveway and only one concierge was trying to help with luggage and directions for parking as nothing was marked. Check in was also busy, with only 2 staff at the desk. Although our room was clean, the shower tiles were quite black with mold which was rather off-putting and should be an easy fix."

"We stayed three nights for our ten year anniversary. From the moment we pulled to the door, we were met with 'Bonjour,' smiles and attentive service. The room was reasonably priced for a historic, 5-star hotel. The rooms appear to be sound proof. Sam's and Le Champlain restaurants were delicious with attentive staff. Dufferin offered a wide variety for breakfast but was my least favorite. The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. I was concerned staff did not say anything to the adult female, in the pool with a wine glass I'd stay again should I desire to return to Quebec City. Thanks for the memories!"

"The hotel is a boutique style only 33 rooms Very well placed to walk to all areas of the old town. Easy reach of excellent restaurants and the location is very quiet It was a delight and the staff could not have been more engaging and helpful Will returns when we revisit Quebec City AJB"
