"I really enjoyed my stay at The Hive! I liked everything about The Hive, but to be specific:
1) Location: It is only a couple of blocks away from Termini, the train station that takes you to and from Fiumicino Airport and the red and blue subway (ATAC) lines (though I found the Repubblica ATAC station to be easier to access from the hotel). It took me only about 7 minutes to get to the Barberini estate, 10 minutes to the Coliseo, and 12 minutes to Piazza del Popolo, where all the shopping is and where many excursions meet. There are also grocery stores and top-rated restaurants and gelaterias just one block away from the hotel in either direction. The neighborhood felt very safe and primarily residential.
2) Rooms: I did not have trouble with noise in my room as some reviews complained of. I was on the ground floor, but I faced the neighboring building’s roof behind the hotel. The room is beautifully designed and recently updated. All of the appliances worked and the bed was comfortable. My room, which I have pictured here, is shown in a messy condition as I took this photo as I was leaving (it was perfectly clean when I first checked-in). I especially loved the bathroom, which came with a large standing shower and a bidet.
3) Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast has the largest variety I’ve seen while traveling in Europe. They have eggs, bacon, any type of pastry you could want, bread for roasting, pancakes, cereal, and much more."
