"If you remember “the good old days” of the small family-run Italian small hotel, this will make you go right back to those lost days! Riccardo and his family are so wonderful. When I told him I was interested in the history of the region, he quickly told me 5 or 6 amazing tales from the distant past, as well as from his own lived experience. This is why we travel: to meet people like this! Did I mention this hotel is LOVELY with a fine attention to detail in all things? I wish I could’ve stayed...

"We loved this hotel, great location and service"

"Staff were polite and helpful. Entrances to the hotel there was a lot of construction. Other than that a great property. The suite room is one of the most spacious rooms you can find."

"Great location and helpful staff! There is no breakfast even though it is advertised, but we didn’t mind. The area is a beautiful quiet neighborhood still accessible to the Venice highlights. We found a few large mosquitoes in the room but it may just be the time of year. Would recommend!"

"Good location. Clean room and pleasant staff!"

"Very nice boutique type hotel. Very helpful staff"

"Great location away from the hordes of tourists.wonderful staff.easy access.will stay there again"

"Wonderful stay and very helpful service."

"This is an apartment in a 500 year old building. On the canal, large space with extra TV room. Nicely furnished small bathroom but nice. Very nice staff, and we were on the 4th top floor and there are no elevators. 54 stairs. Excellent buffet breakfast for 15 euros. Good Italian Venice experience."

"The shower had a poorly put up shower curtain. We were given two plastic cups, and a few pieces of soap. The door was not secure and there was a lot of light around the door. The third bed by the wall was next plumbing so every time the toilets flushed you could hear it. We never found a swim up bar, so I’m not sure if there was one somewhere. The staff was nice"
