โAbsolutely stunning, historic property. Exceeds expectation. If you like Four Seasons, this far outshines. Property, accommodations, staff, and location are outstanding. We stayed in beautiful hotels in Portugal--this one is far/away the finest. Location is in the center of the historic, beautiful, charming village, which cannot be missed for meals, strolling, photos, etc. Highly recommend making the trip to the Arouca Geo Park for the Paiva Walkways and the suspension pedestrian...
โLe calme de l'รฉtablissement. Le fait d'avoir un balcon qui donne sur la forรชt. La literie est confortable. La chambre est spacieuse. Le petit dej est copieux. Le personnel est aux petits soins. โ
โIl nโy a pas dโair climatisรฉ. Le soir, cโรฉtait assez frais pour รชtre agrรฉable mais il nโy a pas de moustiquaires donc nous devions fermer les fenรชtres ร cause des moustiques abondants. La qualitรฉ de lโhรฉbergement dรฉjร excellente en serait amรฉliorรฉe grandement.โ
โAmazing views, right above the gorgeous Duoro River. Fabulous staff, breakfast delivered to room each morning. Location is a bit remote, requiring driving crazy mountain roads to get anywhereโฆ.but worth it!โ
โThe property itself is beautiful, we went for a hike along the trail and was lovely. Amenities are great, a small but very useful gym and of course many pools on sites. All of the restaurants on site are great. The Michelins restรณ is a great experience.
I booked a lymphatic massage and facial and that was not a good experience felt very unprofessional and highly overpriced in terms of the experience received. โ
โSuch a wonderful slice of heaven. Definitely visit this property. The staff were fantastic & so helpful. A bottle of sparkling wine at the pool was โฌ18 and absolutely delicious. The breakfast omelette was delightful, the dinner was delicious. The pool was sensational, such a lovely place to be. Book it! We had a vineyard suite, the Manor House ones seemed further away. โ
