"The owner/manager stayed late, knowing that we were running late. The room was freezing, but, that was the weather. It was clean ,quaint and what we needed after the long 13 hour drive. "Original opinion was clean, but minimalistic. Then started noticing, smoke alarm missing, toilet seat had broken hinge. Overhead light in "office area" didn't work. Plug in bathroom didn't work. Had to unplug a lamp to plug in the computer. Person there when we checked in took 1/2 to check us in. Otherwise staff only present after 3PM. Spilled ice in bathroom, and when I tried to clean up, found the floor was filthy in corners and around toilet."
