“Our stay at Pavones Point was perfect! The location is right at the top point of Pavones surf break. Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. Clean towels, comfortable beds, coffee maker, toaster, blender. No salt or pepper and no trays if you plan on making bacon or roasting anything. And no full length mirrors but the location makes up for that!”

“Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was great. Extremely attentive and friendly. It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. The property is very nice and right on the bay. Very relaxing atmosphere . I would definitely consider returning to the Amaka Lodge ”

“Clean basic room. Nothing fancy but fit the bill. Has A/C. Bring your own shampoo! Nicest looking hotel in the Paso de Canoas area. A little off the main road but a short taxi ride or walk from bus station. Lovely grounds, pretty pool area, nice restaurant on site. Breakfast included. ”

“The room was very clean and nice, although there was a big crack under the door so a lot of little critters could come in which was kinda cute with the exception of a scorpion that stung my boyfriend. Zayro was very communicative and friendly. The pool was also very clean and private which was great. My biggest gripe is the drive there is about 20 minutes of very bumpy off-roading which we were not made aware of. There is also no cell service on this road so if you get stuck with a flat tire,...

“Bisque del Cabo exceeded our expectations! The staff, villas, view from the villa, the food, grounds, and the wildlife on the grounds. A naturalist provides walking tours to discuss the wildlife which was very informative. We can’t say enough good things about our stat”

“El hotel está muy bien ubicado para ir al depósito libre de Golfito. Tiene muchas amenidades disponibles, incluyendo cargador para vehículos eléctricos. Las habitaciones Std están en un nivel inferior, un poco oscuro. Vale la pena hacer el upgrade a las habitaciones del segundo piso, tienen mejor vista y acceso. La decoración es un poco antigua pero todo está muy bien mantenido. Definitivamente lo utilizaré cuando vuelva a estar en la zona.”

“The property is very new,. Rooms are spacious and since it is a resort, the kitchen ia fully stocked ans convenient. Breakfast is good but pricey. The fitness room is a suoer plus.. terrace in the suites have a great view. The hotel is right across the street from the airport. Overall it is a great option. ”

“Alas, this property has seen better days. It’s not horrible, or even unbearable, but bare bones. AC was adequate for sleep but not for siesta. Beach is not inviting. Nearby bars were ok for food. We left a day early. ”

“The rooms were clean. A bit of a musty smell, which gave me concern as I am allergic to mold. Managed to sleep with door open (unit 5, very private) and no problem. Bathroom just steps away. My only trouble was not with the Property, but with the entire family that took over the place. They were not at the property the evening before. The next morning I went to make coffee. Every pot, pan, and kettle was taken over by this group. Inconsiderate of the fact that this was a “hostel-type” property....
