"The team at The Moon were very welcoming, friendly and professional. Gluten Free options available for both evening meal and breakfast. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. The Coach House has plenty of space but the lack of adequate window coverings meant the security lights were bothersome throughout the night. A few minor touch-ups on paintwork and window blind repairs would benefit the room. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"This is well-situated hotel close to the city centre. The staff were friendly, flexible and efficient. I had to delay my checkout for an hour and staff were most amenable. I’ve had better breakfasts but overall, I had a positive experience and will likely rebook the next time I am staying in Sheffield. Lastly, the hotel has a relationship with the car parking facility across the road and I paid £24 for two days and two nights. Big thumbs up."

"Visiting Gilbert and Sullivan Festival at Opera House across the Square. Ideal location for this visit. On payment of parking permit fee able to park in front of hotel for 24 hours. This permit made the afternoon walk around Buxton and the morning shopping trip much easier. The location of the hotel is perfect for any visit to Buxton. The hotel appears tired in decor but the room was pleasing and well appointed. The bathroom up a small flight of stairs was extremely well planned and a delight to use. The bathroom contained both a shower and a free standing bath. We had a very comfortable nights sleep and felt much refreshed the next morning. The breakfast is self service buffet style and the trick is to arrive as the bacon etc is being replenished. All in all an satisfying overnight stay."

"We had a fantastic stay. The staff were so nice, we were celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary, our room was upgraded, and we were given a free drink at the bar. We felt so welcome, the staff were amazing. Would defiantly stay here again. Thank you for looking after us."

"Most of the hotel was in good shape, but our room (321) had a mildew smell and there was rust and mold/mildew in the bathroom, especially around the bottom of the door where it hinges. We loved the dining and lounge area, and found the staff to be very helpful. Breakfast was a little confusing and disorganized; for such a busy time it was clear that more staff should have been working. We liked the location and general ambience."

"Staff excellent very friendly and helpful parking limited at front and rear of hotel also £10 to park overnight. Aim to arrive early to get a parking space Room clean and spacious but no shower hose only overhead drench shower which was great. Mattress needed replacing Lot of road noise however I always travel with earplugs Excellent breakfast and good choice of food on daily menu Have stayed previously as hotel is only five minutes walk to hospital Friendliness staff you’ll ever encounter in a hotel"
