There is no parking at the hotel which is inconvenient. But that is the only negative. The room was wonderful dinner was delicious too. Breakfast was good. Would return, staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s a lovely hotel. Great setting. Staff are good. The only disappointment is that if you are on bed and breakfast basis you have to pay £25 per person daily to use the pool. This extra charge for the spa is understandable but the pool is surely part of the general facilities of the hotel.

Great hotel and spa with friendly, helpful staff and good amenities. Central location in a beautiful building, plenty of free on street parking nearby. Room was clean comfortable with tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast had plenty of options and freshly made.

Our whole experience was wonderful, from check in to drinks in the cocktail bar to dinner and breakfast. Valet parking was a tad expensive but so convenient. We intend to return before Christmas - think it will be lovely.

Gorgeous hotel, lovely spa & location fabulous. Loved that the breakfast was made to order. Only issues we had were that we were there for the night before & directly after our wedding which they were told on 3 separate occasions, and they didn’t do anything special to commemorate/ celebrate it. Also the fire alarms went off multiple times including in the early hours of the night apparently due to some guests smoking in the rooms which was disruptive and inconvenient.

Comfortable and clean room with an exceptional breakfast. Valet parking only which was pricey (£35 per night) although you might get lucky with street parking. Spacious crescent in front of the hotel which would be nice to use for blue badge drivers. Kevin at reception was very helpful when checking in and out.

To start with the building is amazing with a beautiful reception. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was easy to find. A large and clean room, a lovely bathroom with a big shower and a separate bath which was great. We used the spa too which was so clean and relaxing. Had a couple of gorgeous drinks in the bar and a lovely breakfast in the morning.

The Crescent Hotel has been a favourite of ours since it reopened! We noticed the improvement in management since Champneys have taken it over! Marmalade at breakfast would have been appreciated but otherwise excellent! Our massages were also very good!

5 star facilities & the hotel in the main is good with an excellent location for exploring Buxton. However, a lack of a dedicated car park is an issue, whilst you can valet park this currently costs £30/night & may prove prohibitive for some. The restaurant for breakfast is never 4 star let alone 5. The quality of food is decidely average, while the staff are rude & inattentive. Don't consider visiting anytime near closing or you risk not getting any cooked food or even a hot drink! No fresh juice, not even the best concentrate, & the milk is like water.

Firstly want to start of my saying the spa treatment and facilities were truly 10/10. The location was also great with nice walks and restaurants. However, for a 5 star hotel I was left a little disappointed. There was a whole in our duvet and the room had marks, chips and stains on the walls, dressing table and wardrobe.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms on the 3rd floor are a little difficult to locate as lift only goes to the 2nd and 4th floor. Not idea if you're on the 3rd floor. Also Spa very expensive: I booked for 30 back massage which lasted 15 mins so check how long it is before booking.
