Historic General Lewis Inn

"We had a great time at the General Lewis. The accommodation was clean, staff friendly and helpful, and food was delicious. There’s a lovely patio area and a garden behind which was perfect to sit in in the evening with a glass of wine. Highly recommend!"
Old Clark Inn

"Never did meet with any staff. The location was across from a commercial business and next to a run-down residence. The property itself was kept up nicely and they had a backyard area with umbrellas, along with a bike locker to cater to hose traveling the Greenbrier Trail, which was in close proximity to the property. Breakfast consisted of all self-serve items of which they offered a nice variety. Living room was a good place to relax indoors. Email communications went well and there were no problems accessing the building and room. The Mountain Tavern/restaurant was one block away and provided ample pub/restaurant options. Thee beer draft apparatus was quite interesting. Would recommend the Old Clark Inn if traveling through Marlington, especially if the town's opera house was hosting an event."

"From the surrounding hills to the well maintained, dignified, beautiful hotel, everything at the Homesteaf Omni Resort is perfect for a relaxing yet as-active-as-you-want vacation. Largely made up of foreign young people who are eager to learn the hospitality business and please rhe guests, the staff make the experience of being at rhe Omni a pleasant and rewarding time to remember. As someone who grew up abroad, my wife and I appreciated the many nationalities and, yes, the consistent high quality of the staff. Wonderful to see a US corporation helping develop young people from the US and other countries."

"Location was good. Restaurants close by. Parking lot in definite need of repair. Rooms need USB ports for charging. We also had trouble with room keys losing programming. Breakfast was good. Would stay there again"

"Manager did our small group a favor & prepared a sandwich, vegetables, & pie dessert for us. We stayed in the "Nautical Room," which had an assortment of nautical decor. The library in the place was enormous, with satellite bookcases throughout. Breakfast included eggs & bacon, with a nice assortment of cold dishes."
