Bit disappointed that there is no welcome food hamper, particularly as the shop closes at 5pm and the on site restaurant didn’t open. The hot tub was full of murky water and there wasn’t enough wood for the fire and the hot tub. Felt it was a little expensive. ”

“The hosts at Villa Venusta were warm and welcoming making us feel right at home after a long journey. A lovely room with a nice terrace to sit outside. A very comfortable bed, everything was spotlessly clean and shiny. The breakfast was delicious too. We loved how close the property was to the well maintained cliff path offering an easy stroll into town. Thoroughly recommend.”

“The 3 bedroom apartment is large and has a balcony with a braai. The main bedroom has it own bathroom (bath and shower) while the other bedrooms share a bathroom (shower only) via the passage upstairs. There is a WC downstairs in the living space and large kitchen. There is a great view of the mountains. We wish we had found this gem earlier, ideal location in the mall and lots of safe parking. Friendly staff.”

As it was Christmas Eve she also reminded us that places close early and that we needed a reservation for restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and cosy with fluffy duvets and pillows.
