"I had a wonderful stay at the Riu hotel in cabo san lucas. Everything was excellent. The pools were beautiful, clean, and well maintained. My room was very comfortable, and the view was amazing. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the food. The buffet was very repetitive, with many of the same dishes served every day. I also think the restaurants could offer more variety. It would be great if they changed the buffet menu more often and added more options to the restaurant menus. Overall, I had a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is beautiful. We had a room with pool access, which was amazing. The room was small, but clean and nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The only thing that we thought was odd was that half the pool area was reserved only. We found this out the hard way when we grabbed two lounge chairs and were told to move. But my girlfriend had given money to a member to watch our spot so we could go back to the room really quick, and he took the money. He never mentioned that the chairs were for paid reservations only. We found out after the fact when management approached us. Luckily, they were nice about it since it wasn't our fault, and let us stay. But let me tell you, this place is an INFLUENCER HEAVEN. That is ALL we saw there. We barely saw any hotel guests, and when we did, they were on the other side of the pool. The music is LOUD all day and night, from 10 am to 11 pm. The drinks were good, but the food at the restaurants was not great. The one on the rooftop was good. But the asian inspred one was awful. The main restaurant on the pool level was ok. All of the food was so salty. So I would suggest eating off-site, especially since the place is pricey. Food by the pool was good though."
