Excellent service and attention to detail at Norcroft Guest House. Great location being only a short walk into town. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast had a wide range of choices and was great. Mark and Paula were friendly and helpful hosts. I would highly recommend.

Having arrived after a long day on the road, we were welcomed by both the owners and offered a delicious slice of cake which was amazing! The Room was immaculate, clean and tidy with plenty of space. The Guest House is in the perfect location that its quiet and within easy walking distance to the Town Centre which has plenty of restaurants on offer. The Breakfast was delicious and was delivered straight to your room. The Owners are both very kind, attentive & they are excellent hosts.

Characterful, clean, efficient. Mark and his wife have only taken over the business a week ago, they were very kind, attentive. They are excellent hosts.

Very lovely stay with delicious breakfast delivered to your room every morning! Walking distance to the town center and many restaurant options. Enjoyed my week-long stay here!

Good position in Penrith
Only a short walk into Penrith, free off-road parking, comfy bed, welcoming host - and unlike some B&Bs in Penrith it doesn't demand a two-night stay. The building isn't ultra-modern, but it suited our stay just fine.

Lovely stay in penrith.
What a marvellous stay. From start to finish john and kim made you feel welcome. Everything clean bed very comfortable. Loved having breakfast in the room. Definitely worth staying at this guest house. Not far from the centre. Well worth it will definitely be going again.

No Crumbs in the Bed! :-)
Nice stay on the way to Glasgow. Nice little town and the hotel, with parking, was in walking distance to the centre. Breakfast was a treat and served in your bedroom which had a nice little sit at table so no crumbs in the bed! Excellent host, great nights stay.

Top Notch
Excellent accommodation, top marks for cleanliness. Great breakfast. John and hIs wife are a lovely couple and make you very welcome. Property is near Penrith town centre. Restaurants and bars within walking distance. Definitely stay at the Norcroft again.

John was a amazing host. Everything was perfect and I will be more than happy to be there. Thank you John for a wonderful stay. Perfect place to stay in Penrith. Town centre, market, bus (5min walk) and train station (10 min) at walking distance. Bus stop for Carlisle is just outside the property. Loved the breakfast and it gets served at your room Overall five stars for property, food and hosting

We were welcomed by property owner John as we pulled up. Immediately gave us all the information we asked for about our stay when I asked. I requested three pillows each for arrival and we got them. Spotless room, one of the best, most comfortable beds we had slept in. Super King size like our own, back home, which is great for us two as we are tall. Breakfast was wonderful, cooked to our liking with some beautiful Cumberland butchers sausage. Nice runny egg. Highly recommended and many thanks. Would definitely stay again :)

Great hosts and good location
Great friendly host and in a good location. We used this as a pitstop to a longer Scottish road trip. Good location and walkable in to the town for convenience.

Fantastic hosts who couldn’t do more for me. Didn’t sample the breakfast as I had to be away early on each morning I stayed. Brilliant location. Secure parking. Room a little dated but nothing that shocked me. Exceptional value. Would stay here again.
