We enjoyed our stay here so much. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. The included full breakfast was the best. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great outdoor area as well as the comfortable inside area.

Absolutely lovely pub hotel. Rooms were great, comfortable beds, great selection of tea/coffee sachets in the room and a good smart TV. The breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. So quiet and peaceful but 3 minute drive to Ullswater. I walked down to Aira Force from the hotel which was a bonus. We'll be back!

It’s a B&B style hotel in Lake District. It’s best for driving but there’s bus stop just outside the hotel. The staff welcomed us warmly. The room is clean and tidy. There’s no telecom network coverage. The room is also covered by WiFi though it was more stable near the door. We also had dinner in the hotel which we enjoyed the evening with descent food. The breakfast was complimentary and it’s at very high quality,

We were impressed by the friendliness and excellent service provided by all staff. Our room (no 6) was comfortable. Just one note of warning: the entrance way to the bathroom is VERY low; it is a safety issue calling for attention. Dinners in the restaurant were well suited to hungry walkers: we enjoyed the food; it was well prepared and presented. Breakfasts were good; a bowl of fresh fruit and a better range of cereals would have been welcome. The hotel is in a very pleasant and peaceful rural setting.

The hotel was only 5 mins walk to Aira force fabulous walks nearby. The food at the hotel was amazing as was the breakfasts. Free parking onsite a really lovely place to stay would definitely stay again

What a lovely place to stay . Rooms are clean and comfortable,pub has well stocked bar and plenty choice on the menu if you're hungry. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was to die for . Will definitely be back
