Check-in was smooth and efficient. The staff was very informativeโeven pointing out where I could plug in my car, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel offers wonderful amenities. I especially loved the ability to walk straight from the pool area to the peaceful, zen-like outdoor space.
Our room was spacious, and I really appreciated the welcome note displayed on the television when we arrivedโit was a nice, personal touch.
The reason I rated the experience 4 instead of 5 stars is due to two isolated incidents. First, I filled my water bottle from the breakfast station and was promptly corrected by a kitchen staff member. While I understand the policy (and did see the sign once it was pointed out), it was the tone of the interaction that felt unnecessarily sharp and not service-minded. Being near a military installation, weโre used to following rulesโrespectfully communicating them makes all the difference.
Second, the pulled chicken served at breakfast was cold, and there was no microwave available to heat it. That small inconvenience affected an otherwise pleasant dining experience.
Overall, the stay was great, and Iโd consider returningโespecially if those two areas are addressed.
