Great room. Spacious with all the amenities of an apartment. Staff was professional and helpful. Everything you need is within walking distance as well as a lot of the monuments and temples. Wonderful stay:)

The staff entered my room when I had the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the handle. I had explicitly stated I didn’t need room service at the time I was staying.

Not in a very great part of town. Very limited dining, shopping and entertainment. Mostly grungy markets. Very dirty streets. Construction near by that was noisy.

To avoid
Tough to find out location if you don't know the city. Comfort is just enough, great bed, but the rest was cheap quality. Nothing in the kitchen to cook. The worst was the staff. Happened that no one was there during hours, customers waited for check in and out.

ungepflegtes Hotel in einer schmalen Gasse
Hallo Molyan Hotel. dass das Hotel in einer schmalen Gasse lag , war kein Problem, denn ich hatte mir das vor meiner Buchung angesehen. Das Frühstück, na ja, doch nur Asian -Food. das Personal war sehr unfreundlich, bis auf eine Dame, der ich dann auch einen Deutschen Lind-osterhasen geschenkt habe. als ich das erste mal zum Frühstück kam, sagte der unfreundliche Mann nur: ZIMMERNUMMER. ich sagte ihm: das heist erstmal guten Morgen, aber ohne Reaktion, obwohl er Englisch srach. ich sah ihn dann nur am Händy sitzen. dass es auch Eierspeisen auf Bestellung und Suppe gab , wusste ich nicht. Ok ich habe Überlebt.Das Personal war unfreundlich, ich wollte in einer Notsituation wegen Corona einen Ausdruck haben von meinem PC. die Hilfe kam nicht. Das bett war schon sehr ausgelegen, hatte allerdings das billigste zimmer für 34 Euro---da sollte mann mehr erwarten.nun ja, Sauberkeit---Ameisen im zimmer,welche nicht beseitigt worden sind. ich habe mir dann das Giftspray geben lassen. der Kühlschrank musste ich mit eigenen Reinigungstücher auswaschen. als gast zuvor im NAGA 2 und Bridge-Club und vielen anderen hotels war das Molyan das Schlechteste. Es tut mir sehr leid,dass ich das schreiben muss, ich hoffe, dass einige der Beanstandungen mit dem Corona-Virus zusammen hängen. zb. hat man mit den Fingern auf mich gezeigt, als ich aus dem Fahrstuhl gekommen war---die tür zum Nebenraum wurde dann direkt zugeschlagen. was ich noch sagen muss,dass das Reinigungspersonal nett war.

Very good value for the price! The hotel is centrally located, my room was clean, spacious and quiet, staff was very helpful and professional, breakfast was good. This is an older building, apparently from 60ies, hidden in a narrow lane and could be a bit difficult to find without a GPS. For me, this added some extra charm, some may consider the facility a bit outdated. I think the hotel is a gem and I would definitely stay there again.

Good location no rooftop
the hotel is in a good location, although difficult to find because it is in a small ally. Room was ok for the price, breakfast was very basic. but the real downer was the fact that they advertise a nice rooftop bar that actually has been closed for months.

Very nice reception area and breakfast room upstairs; staff great; the bathroom very small with no separation for shower so every time you take shower everything gets wet; 15 min walk to the Royal Palace and Museum or the waterfront

Average stay in Phnom Penh
Just completed a 3 night stay at the Molyan Hotel in Phnom Penh. Positives: - Able check in when we arrived super early (just after 10am) - Room was upgraded on arrival to a larger room - Location is great and within walking distance of most attractions - Lots of restaurants/bars within a short walking distance - Room was very large and bed was comfortable Negatives: - Overall the hotel needs a bit of tlc, rooms were clean on the surface but would benefit from a deeper clean especially in the bathroom and kitchenette area (old food was left in plug - not very nice) - Breakfast was probably the worst I have had in SE Asia. Very limited choice, and by the time we arrived for breakfast at around 9am, everything was pretty much gone, staff did not replenish things as they ran out. One kind member of staff made the offer on the second day to get us anything that had run out but no offer was made to a second couple that arrived some time after us. - Rooftop bar & restaurant: hotel is advertised as having a rooftop bar and restaurant. We visited the rooftop bar on our first night to find it completely deserted, looked as though it had not been in use for months and months. Same goes for the restaurant, this seems to be used as a staff room. If these are no longer on offer then that is fine, but to advertise that there are attractive facilities such as rooftop bar when there are not is simply misleading and we would have looked elsewhere having known this

Good location and comfortable room
The room size was comfortable with a nice balcony. I was on the 6th floor so it was nice and quiet. Good location as it was about 15mins walk to the palace. There were many restaurants nearby. The hotel has good wifi, but the cleanliness of the bathroom can be improved as there were long strands of hair all over the bathroom walls when I first got to the room. Breakfast was included but the choice were limited.

They went into my room when i had the do not enter sign up. Then charged me for cokes that were there at check out. They had a free breakfast that was bad ants all over the place not clean at all. The powere went of oand on for 2 days

Great value for money, lobby needs improvement
The hotel was a bit difficult to find. Upon arrival, tho the front desk in charge was nice, however the lobby was just a bit scary since it was too dark, and the security guard was initially sleeping on the couch. The room was suprisingly good, they can still improve a little bit on cleanliness, but i was pleasantly surprised with how big the room was. The location is also good, its near a lot of attractions. Just outside the hotel, theres a police station. However, one might still feel uncomfortable walking at night since the streets are not well lighted.

A good clean modern western style, apartment hotel, very good bed nice hot shower, no smells, big fridge, big luxurious rooms, very good air-conditioning, great buffet breakfast, very close to Narga 2 casino located down a little lane, this is a very good hotel in a good area, a hidden gem l will always come back here

Excellent ! Que du bien à dire.
Grande suite très confortable et propre. Personnel extrêmement aimable, attentif, serviable et respectueux parlant anglais. Bon petit déjeuner complet inclus. L'entrée se fait par une petite ruelle sombre pas très belle (le chauffeur de tuk tuk est passé devant plusieurs fois avant de trouver) mais cela ne pose aucun problème, notamment de sécurité. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

清潔感があって良かったですが、トイレとシャワールームが一緒になっていた。 日本人には仕切りにカーテンがあるといいと思った。 朝食はビッフェスタイル、プラス、卵料理や麺料理などを選べるので、4泊したが飽きなかった。 ホテルのスタッフさん達は親切で親しみやすくて良かったです。 空港からホテルに向かう時、場所がメイン通りから人かバイクが通れるくらいの細い道を少し入ったところにあるので分かりづらかったが、慣れるとイオンモール1までも徒歩圏内でどこにいくにも便利だった。

Meh.
Meh. On the plus, there was cable tv and was centrally located. The negatives- the shower isn’t partitioned so water goes everywhere in the bathroom, the breakfast was very basic, and there were dust bunnies everywhere.

Give it a try
I stayed here only for one night. Staff and hotel reception were extremely nice and helpful and check in was quick and easy. The hotel was a little difficult to find as it is tucked away in an alley but really cool alley with tons of bars and restaurants and very close to the Independent Mouument. The only improvement I’d suggest is the AC unit which runs slowly and is not all that powerful, especially during the hot months. Other than that, great stay! Highly recommend.

Very nice big rooms. Located in an small alley away from the busy streets. Very nice staff that even prepped a breakfast for us in the middle of the night because we had to leave very early. Only downside was the ac that didn’t cool that much.

Hotel excelente com atendimento sensacional
Hotel excelente com atendimento sensacional. A área do hotel não é muito bonita mas é muito útil pois tem diversas opções para alimentação, além de uma lavanderia próxima. Alem disso, o shopping fica a uns 10 min de caminhada, ou seja, a localização do hotel é excelente. Super recomendo este hotel que tem um ótimo custo benefício, com um café da manhã que realmente me surpreendeu.

Hôtel bon rapport qualité prix
Hôtel récent , chambre claire et propre comprenant d'un côté cuisine et de l'autre côté petite Salle à Manger . Grande Salle de Bains Peignoirs Chaussons . Pouvons obtenir toutes informations sur les visites à la réception , personnel très agréable . Petits Déjeuners buffet variable et complet , le Roof top Bar .. un plus pour prendre un verre ou dîner le soir . Bémol : l'hôtel se trouve dans une toute petite allée sombre et sale , la plupart du temps mais une fois qu'on est à l'intérieur , çà va .

Deceptivally good!!
We enjoyed our stay at the Molyan. When we arrived the sign to the hotel looked awful and we immediately checked the address hoping the taxi was wrong! It wasn't.... We walked down the alleyway and found the Molyan and from then onwards it was great! The room was very big. We had 2 balconies, a kitchenette and a sofa in addition to the room. The location is pretty convenient to get everywhere. It's all very busy and hectic, and yet we slept well in the hotel. I would recommend. We did the Killing Fields and S-21 tour through the hotel but that I wouldn't recommend. I felt rushed. I would rather have used a tuk tuk and spent more time without being herded out in a certain timeframe. Great stay.

Amazing hotel, only the location can Worry a bit!!
Overall the hotel is amazing... the terrace has an amazing view of the city main street and the drinks are great, definitely it is worth spending the night there... The breakfast was good and the service great!! the room was very comfortable and had kitchen and residential size fridge, could not asked for more... the only but is the location since it is inside an alley and was a little bit hard to find and the area was a little "worried" to walk outside during night.
