Motel 6 Old Town Scottsdale is an okay stay if you’re looking for something budget-friendly and conveniently located. The cost is definitely a plus, especially for short-term needs, and I chose this location because it’s close to both my children’s activities and my work.
That said, I’ve had a few unfortunate and uncomfortable experiences with certain staff during my stay. While I won’t elaborate, there’s a noticeable difference in how customer service is extended to different guests. Because of this, I choose to keep interactions minimal and only engage when absolutely necessary.
The Wi-Fi is not ideal for heavy work loads, so if you’re working remotely and need strong connectivity, this may not be the best fit. Also, the cleaning schedule (every other day) can be a bit inconvenient when working variable hours.
I recommend it for short stays where affordability and location are priorities, but I’d suggest managing expectations when it comes to service and amenities.
