"Back at the Leonardo for the fourth time, perfect for four nights visiting my daughter, grandchildren and brother in Utrecht. Single room with air conditioning, clean and comfortable, great breakfast, very helpful staff."

"We had a great couple of nights at the Karel V hotel. The room and bathroon were specious and the seperate WC had a basin in it - really welcome but quite rare. It was equipped to the standard I expectt from a 5* hotel and housekeeping kept it that way. All the staff were absolutely brilliant - incredibly helpful and friendly - the reception team in particular (thanks Jet!) giving us recommendations and suggestions and nothing was too much trouble. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel (book in advance to secure a table) but there are so many great restaurants within a few minutes walk that wasn't an issue. The breakfast was of the usual high standard (with crispy bacn - another rare thing!) and again nothing was too much trouble. Finally, like its service and accomodation, the location this hotel is unbeatable with ample parking (paid) and EV chargers. We fell in love with Utrecht and hope to return again next year and we will certainly stay at the Grand Hotel Karel V"

"We had an executive suite for our family of 4. 2 full single beds placed in the lounge with plenty of space. Excellent storage space and full bathroom with separate shower and bath. We used the swimming pool every day which the kids loved. Bowling was also great value and all the staff throughout bowling and the hotel were excellent."
