"The room was spacious and made our group of 3 (mother and child plus friend) feel so comfortable and relaxed. The homemade breakfast on the terrace was delicious and the beauty of the surroundings made it just perfect. The family who runs the hotel is just lovely: attentive and ready to help. They made us feel very welcome while also giving us plenty of privacy. "

"I stayed in the King Suite. This room /suite is gorgeous, and i dont know if my photos do it justice. It is impeccably clean and well equipped. Beautifully decorated and on another level. Very well thought out. The room was warm enough in November. They have heating and extra heaters available in room. Bed was comfortable, plug sockets by the bed.
This property is literally in front of Uchisar Castle but as a warning for those with mobility issues, the road is uneven and the property is on a slight slope. Breakfast was amazing, didnt expect a full Turkish breakfast, and this filled me up right until dinner. I had dinner at the property, again very good portion size and tasty. The staff are lovely and helpful.
The property has nearby shops, and at night it is very peaceful. This room was below the terrace so you can hear tables/chairs moved around but this didnt bother me. They have a few terraces to sit out and relax, and also a great spot to view the hot air balloons. I travelled solo and i thoroughly enjoyed my stay here"
"Spectacular in many ways, but not without a few disappointments.
The Museum Hotel is undeniably beautiful — the views over Cappadocia are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise when the hot air balloons fill the sky. The service overall was fantastic, and I really appreciated the thoughtful gestures throughout my stay — from the complimentary bottle of wine and desserts to the chocolates left in my room. My room was also upgraded on arrival, and I even got to choose the one I wanted, which was such a lovely touch.
The Michelin-starred restaurant was mind-blowing — genuinely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Every course was exceptional, and the staff were wonderful. The spa was also incredible, and the hotel’s overall charm and sense of history make it truly unique.
However, there were a few things that left me disappointed. My cave room, while authentic, felt quite eerie and dusty, which made it harder to relax. The activities offered through the hotel are extremely overpriced — about triple what you’d pay elsewhere for a private tour, and the “full-day” option ended up lasting only three hours. The takeaway breakfast was also surprisingly poor — just a few pieces of bread in a box and bad coffee, which really didn’t align with the hotel’s otherwise high standards.
One experience that stood out for the wrong reasons was an encounter at reception. A female staff member assumed I wasn’t a guest when I asked where the restaurant was and rather bluntly tol"
"The host family at Cherrykonak is very friendly. They literally take the safety, satisfaction and comfort of their guests very seriously. We stayed for 3 days and had amazing time. The breakfast served every morning was extremely delicious. The place is also very quiet and calm. I would surely love to stay there again on my next visit. "
"Amazing hotel. I did not want our stay to end. This property is worth the premium they charge over other cave hotels. Unparalleled service. Definitely recommend. Dont forget to take the 1 hour hotel tour at 6:00pm daily. Amazing wine cellar!"
