Spoiled rotten in Pirae.

Excellent friendly atmosphere. Louis and staff were amazing! Changing my plans to stay elsewhere at the end of this trip so i will be coming back to stay chez Louis. Maururu and à bientôt!

Beautiful and Serene

Pension Pare Lodge was amazing. Very clean and friendly staff. The environment at Pare was serene and relaxing. We loved the pool, the chickens and their antics, and the cute dog. I would highly recommend Pension Pare Lodge.

Great lodge! Friendly staff and very helpful. Lovely garden and swimming-pool, nice breakfast. Will definitely stay here again, when back in Papeete. The place is very clean and they have lots of space, for car parking, in case you are coming with a car. They have transfer service to and from the airport and safari and all kinds of excursions can be booked through them too. Looking forward to be back there again.

We are so happy we stayed at this property. So much nicer than a resort. A very local place. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. For our continental breakfast, all fruit was grown on the property. Delicious. Arno was fabulous and helped us take the bus to Papeete and directed us to the food trucks. Lovely grounds and a wonderful pool. Stay here if you want to get a real taste of the island of Tahiti! Thank you!

The staff (especially Louis) were extremely friendly and helpful. They ensured we had a fantastic time exploring the island and facilitated many opportunities for us (i.e. ferry to Mo'orea, car rental, safari tour). The property was very clean and private. It felt like being invited into someone's home. Breakfast was delicious each day and Louis took note of the fruits we enjoyed the most and ensured we always had that on our plates. We highly recommend this lodge to anyone traveling with or without kids.

Absolutely loved my stay here. They were so helpful and accommodating and made my life so much easier! They helped me with scheduling taxis and made sure I got where I needed to go on time. Very impressed with their hospitality!

Louis who runs Pare Lodge is absolutely amazing and helpful with everything, definitely the hostess with the mostest! We had beautiful fresh fruit and pastries everyday of our stay and it was just beautiful.

This property is about 18 minutes from the airport and away from the main downtown area. Basic accommodations with continental breakfast. No dining other than a food truck and a couple of take out pizza places. Manager was friendly but not always readily available to answer questions.

Not a place I would ever stay again. Only stayed one of three nights booked. Of the two lights in the ceiling only one worked. No desk lights or table lamps. No desks or tables or chairs in the room. Very small very cramped. Very little room to hang clothing. A shower was an open area in the toilet room. No tissue to blow my nose. Very limited counter space and virtually no cupboard or closet space. I did ask the proprietor if he would consider refunding half of our payment since we only stayed one of three nights. Received no reply. This might be your go to place if you have very little belongings, have no need for the downtown area, and just want privacy and want to read a book. This would probably be a good spot. Not what we came for. Also this is not a place for people with walkers or wheelchairs. Uneven surfaces, steps to climb, no handicap accessibility. Additionally the slate stone sidewalks can be treacherous and slippery when it rains. And it rains a lot in the summer.

Very nice property and helpful staff, but breakfast was not good, small pieces of old fruit, few pieces of sweet rolls. No cereal, toast, yogurt, cheese. Surprisingly there was a bowl of rotting bananas covered with flies.

Hello, the staff was very friendly, however, it was not advertised as having a shared bathroom, and that was a big shock to my family who had just traveled 10 hours to arrive at a room that was much more like a hostel than a hotel lodge. The shared bathrooms were uncomfortable for my children who didn't feel safe showering, and had we known there was a shared bathroom we would not have booked this room as a family.
