le mie nipotine visto da fuori hotel da incubo
Fare attenzione a quando prenotate perché vi mandano in altro appartamento distante dall'agriturismo qualche chilometro precisamente a Monte Castello. Le mie nipotine quando hanno visto l'agriturismo silo dall'esterno lo hanno definito "hotel da incubo". Solo dall'esterno perché non ci hanno fatto neanche accomodare ma spedite presso appartamento a monte Castello.

Soggiorno di una notte per 2 persone, e posso confermare le valutazioni negative che altri hanno lasciato. Dalle descrizioni presenti sul sito web ufficiale ti aspetteresti il paradiso terrestre, ma la realtà è ben diversa, il contesto naturale nel quale è posizionata la struttura è molto bello, ma tutta la struttura presenta un generale stato di trascuratezza. Pur avendo prenotato un appartamento con cucina e vettovaglie (tra le altre cose sul sito web ufficiale parlano di 4 appartamenti TUTTI con cucina), l'appartamento ne era privo, e nascoste dietro una tenda vi erano 4 assi di legno inchiodate a mo di porta dietro le quali si intravedeva una specie di archivio polveroso. Nell'ingresso 4 bancali di legno reggevano un materasso con cuscini a mo di braccioli (stile country???).Lo spazio esterno richiederebbe una seria risistemazione generale. La colazione consisteva in 6 fette biscottate sciolte (con gatti che giravano tranquillamente), marmellata e burro monodose del supermercato (niente spremute,succhi o qualsivoglia di fresco).Evidentemente per mancanza di personale la struttura è lasciata a se stessa. Capisco il senso country, ma fortunatamente dovevo soggiornare solo una notte. Struttura che potrebbe avere un potenziale, ma gestita in questo modo......

Perfect for back-packers on a budget
A bit run down place in the forrest. The biggest minus was that there were no A/C or even fan in the room, making it difficult to sleep. The mattresses were hard and the shower had now water pressure. The breakfast was so poor that I would not call it a breakfast. We had booked for three nights but left after the first mainly due to the lack of A/C. There are some good things about this location, if you are willing to look through the fingers on the above. The location is very rural and peaceful and the views from the terrasse deck outside our room was amazing. The eating area has a nice charm to it. This is a perfect back-packer place.

Hotellet utlovade gratis wi-fi som tyvärr inte fungerade, det fanns inga gratis toalettartiklar (inte ens en papperskorg), frukost serverades på huvudhotellet ca 4 km bort (så vi måste åka bil) men vi fick ingen information om frukosttider etc så vi blev utskällda för att vi kom försent. När hon skulle visa oss lägenheten körde hon ifrån oss så vi körde vilse. Det fanns en bild på en pool i området som inte var öppen när vi var där fick vi veta på plats. Ägarinnan var otrevlig och inte serviceminded. Hon talade dessutom bara italienska.

Exactly what my family needed
It was like a little piece of happiness in the hills. With breathtaking views, friendly alpacas and people of course. We had an apartment with a kitchen(stove, sink and refrigerator) and our room was awesome. The lady who runs the place was very sweet and accommodating.The room had 2 beds and it was not cramped at all. The bathroom was quaint being it only had a shower and not a tub, but the bathroom wasn't small at all and everything was so clean.I haven't gotten a good night's rest until we fell asleep on that awesome bed. I personally feel this hotel is being robbed for only charging €61 or sometimes less. With the hotel being located on a beautiful hill and right in between Florence and Pisa yet still away from the city life this family could easily charge €95-100 a night. And you get free breakfast. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful and my kid loved to be outside and enjoy the sounds of nature and be able to look up at the night sky and see stars for the first time. If you want to unplug and reconnect this is most definitely the place. Not even a 5 star spa resort can give me what this hotel has given me. This was exactly what my family needed. You have to see it for yourself.
