“Great stay staff were all wonderful room was clean and spacious. Restaurant was awesome both food and service. Pool was large has a swim up bar. We were welcomed on arrival by an alligator (leave him alone and he’ll leave you alone) and lots of Iguana’s. Would recommend renting a vehicle or golf cart the village is about a 30 minute drive. ”

“The location of coral cove is stunning, directly on the beach which is combed every day and lined with palm trees, just beautiful. Free kayak and bike hire is a great bonus, which we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a bit basic and the only vegan breakfast option was fruit, but overall we loved our stay here and would definitely come back. ”

“What a cozy and well-located room in Placencia. Our cabana was right on the beach. The busy and fun bar next door had music playing till midnight, but for us, that was great -- just made it more like beach living. The rooms are in great condition and the staff is wonderful. Santiago keeps the beach and room area in perfect shape and is very attentive. We felt at home, and we could walk the Placencia sidewalk for coffee, breakfast, and night life at all times. “Nice greeting from the staff as we entered. Pretty and spacious rooms, most with balconies overlooking the pool and sea. Bikes, kayaks available for free or rent a fishing pole and go fishing. Restaurant offered delicious breakfast and has live entertainment on some nights. The pool is smaller but very nice with a swim up bar. Plenty of lounges available around the pool or right on the beach. 20/25 minute walk to the center od town or rent a golf cart from the resort. ”

“We loved our stay at umaya. The beach is awesome. The whole pool area/chairs/dock and set up are awesome too. So great that you can also borrow Kayaks and paddle boards (which we did) to have morning paddles when the ocean is calmer. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff helpful and accommodating and the food at the hotel was good as well. There are also many restaurants and a supermarket (10 min drive) close to umaya without having to always make the drive...
