"On arrival at 9pm , check in was smooth, we were informed we were being upgraded to an UP room, which was nice. However we were given room 642 which is in the corner of the hotel, room itself was nice , great shower in room but balcony had pigeon droppings on balcony rail and floor, I noticed other balconies in this area had same problem. On complaining the following morning we were at first offered a room on 3rd floor which was not as good and was in floor of hotel being renovated. We informed staff we would stay in room if they would clean the balcony, they informed us this would be done and that this area of hotel is problematic with this issue.
The balcony was not cleaned once in our 4 night stay, had feeling reception staff didn’t really care or deal with the issue. These rooms at corner are also very noisy with the lift being next to them.
Staff in restaurant and pool bar very nice. Pool images is very chilled out with best heated pool I have been in. Location is also very good for bars and restaurants.
Overall a nice stay but disappointed in room situation and reception staff."
