"Fantastic, was worried about the food from other reviews but we found it good, lots of choice with the buffet. Breakfast as good as any 4 star we’ve been to, lunch and dinner good range. The white wine was really nice, cocktails made fresh. Staff were all really lovely. The hotel was small so easy to get around. Lovely family hotel. The kids pool is perfect for toddlers and warm. The main pool also heated and nice temp. Comfy sun loungers. Taxi to town 7 euro. Free shuttle to the beach daily 11am and 4pm. Overall a great stay- really great value compared to any other all inclusive on the island. We will come back. "

"2nd time at this hotel. This time we booked a junior suite which was amazing. Very large room with a double size balcony and sea view Unfortunately on day 3 I fractured my foot. The receptionist Augustin was so helpful I had to purchase a boot for my foot which he helped source for me as well as organising taxis. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff The girls around the pool were also so friendly. Because of my injury I couldn’t get out but the food in the hotel is really nice. Service and food in Calloq are really good.Breakfast lots of choice. Beds around the pool are ample and so comfortable. We will come back and definately get a junior suite "

"We were there for two nights,20-22/3, the breakfast was excellent, swimming pools lovely and room was great on the first night. The second night we couldn’t sleep most of the night as it was raining heavily and water was dripping through the balcony window onto the floor making a sound even when I placed three large towels on the floor. In the morning when we were leaving I spoke to Stephanie, customer relations, and told her we couldn’t sleep: she said we could have changed rooms, I replied that it was 2.00 in the night and we were also leaving that morning, also that we would not be returning to the island.She said she would look into the matter, I also showed her a video taken during the night. Later I asked her if the hotel could pay for our taxi into town as compensation,she said it was not possible as they were a different company. Later I received her email saying that the weather had affected many other businesses and that I could get an upgrade if I booked again. She clearly did not listen to me when I said we would not be returning ever again. I feel that this is unacceptable, especially as this was an expensive hotel, the customer service was not up to standard. I have used Hotels .com for many years and never complained, but in this instance I think that some compensation is required "

"Had a perfect week's stay. All the staff were so friendly, helpful, and made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast was fantastic - we loved the pancakes, fresh fruit, and eggs. The pools are beautiful and as the main lazy river winds around the beautifully planted grounds there's always somewhere fairly private and quiet to lay out. The bars are very fairly priced, with great drinks. Housekeeping quick and great attention to detail. Little details like the access to shower room after you've checked out are so helpful! We don't want to leave! "

"Reception is on the 8th floor, with the rest of the rooms being underneath since the property is on a steep hill, which was a little odd. Check in and check out were both very smooth. It was a little hard to find parking (we ended up parking a ten minute walk away, but it was free). We didn't use the kitchen but it looked very nicely stocked with cookware. Definitely a hotel for the older crowd! "

"Perfect! We had a classic apartment and holidayed with 4 adults and a 1 year old. The space was perfect! So handy that there is a SPAR on site. We did a Lidl shop before, but we really didn't need to. The SPAR was super cheap. We hired a car, which I'd recommend from the airport. The roads are super easy. Having the access to the beach club made all the difference. I think that's what made it good value for money, if that access wasn't there, I don't think it would have been worth the amount as the pool just for hotel guests is nice, but nothing in comparison to the beach club. The staff were absolutely amazing. The cleaners were so lovely and friendly, as well as the reception staff. Always a smile. Ale was our cleaner and was lovely! The hotel restaurant was a great nicer dinner and the food at the beach club was incredible. Outside the hotel, we particularly liked Art33! As a day trip, I recommend Puerto Mogan - stunning! Also doing the hike up to The Cross was really easy and lovely. "
