“Everything was great. The room was impeccably clean, but we were missing face cloths, the lights above the beds didn't work (needed new lightbulbs maybe?), and the TV remote was missing. It was late at night when we discovered these things so no one was there to call and it certainly wasn't an emergency. Nothing we couldn't live without but just wanted you to know for the next guests. Breakfast was excellent as usual and we had fun visiting the Cellar Bar for the first time. Lovely! We always...

“Old tired place. Breakfast on par with 7-11. No cappuccino. Industrial coffee. HVAC system from decades ago and noisy. I would not repeat unless it was the last room available. The only plusses ”

“It was good for an overnight stay. For a longer stay, I would prefer a property that has a staff available to address any issues. The room was clean, except for one pillowcase that looked as if it had not been changed (there were mascara stains all over it). With no front desk staff, we opted to use the extra pillows that were provided in the closet. Other than that, it was a nice, clean, quiet property.”

“We stayed one night at the inn and it honestly was a spontaneous decision that we do not regret. The view was stunning and the room was well kept. Everything was functioning and it just genuinely exceeded my expectations. We stayed during a chilly time but the room's AC also acts like a heater and it kept us warm and toasty. My only hesitance of giving it a five star rating is that I could feel the carpets on my feet. What I mean by that is it did not feel as clean as I would have preferred...

“This is one of our favorite places to stay anywhere in the US. Lovely inn! Each room has its own individual charm as no two rooms are alike. A bonus is the great continental breakfast! Make detours to Marblehead every time we come to Boston just so we can include a stay here.”

“The house is decorated very nicely, and was very clean. The bed was comfortable too. Had to check out early for a meeting, but wished we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time:)”

“Room was beautiful and the location was great. Contactless which I wasn't sure about but was great. Easy code to get into the building and our room and check out was just as easy. Lovely Tea/Coffee bar with snacks. Will stay here again.”
