“Overall, I thought it was nice and comfortable. Google maps originally took me to the wrong place, but we got it sorted out. They seem to have a fair number of animals - besides a couple of dogs and a cat, I definitely heard a rooster as well. So it could be a little disruptive overnight when you're trying to sleep if you're not used to that sort of thing.”

“We took our family of 4 and had a lovely time. The location is quiet, peaceful, and remote which we loved. We walked all around the property as much as we pleased and explored the beautiful scenery. The fishing was great and Captain was amazing. They even cooked the fish we caught and the chef was superb. It’s very easy to relax and unwind from the American hustle and bustle at Aotera. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful during the whole stay. It definitely was a week in paradise.”

“추천합니다. 볼케이노 근처라 자연환경이 좋아요. 정성스럽게 가꾸어진 정원과 출입로가 신비롭습니다. 저희가 간 날은 밤에 날씨가 너무 좋아 별이 총총했어요. 볼케이노 국립공원에서 별을 보고 내려왔는데 정작 이 숙소에서 별이 더 잘보였어요. 아침에 체크아웃하는데 주인분께서 20달러에 용암동굴도 보여주셨어요. 영어도 못하고 친정엄마가 78세라 많이 연로하시어 망설였으나 친절하게 안내해주셔서 즐거웠습니다. 특별한 경험이었어요. 가족들과 함께 하신다면 아이들에게 특별한 추억이 남을 거 같구요. 허니문도 좋을 거 같습니다. 여기서 1시간 거리에 힐로와 푸나우루 블랙샌드비치가 있어요. 교통도 편합니다.”

“This is a beautiful, quiet property just above Hilo town. The view of Hilo from the property is AMAZING! Great value for the room we had for 5 days. The property is very relaxing and the sounds of the coqui frogs at night add to the feeling of relaxation and induction of sleep. I would highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Hilo.”
